In part two of our interview series with Cindy, she reflects upon what it was like growing up as a female drummer and to what extent her playing has influenced young women AND men to pick up the sticks.
Cindy also talks about the first time she saw Tony Williams play. It was truly a transformative moment for her. "That set me on a course. If I don't go for that, then I'm not going for anything. THAT's the direction."
