Do you give your bird a foraging tray or box? My birds do enjoy them. Here are more videos you may enjoy Parrot Nutrition: ua-cam.com/play/PL6uTBIckTWD5uwapbvNHmUeyFsvwRn3Io.html
I so appreciate your common sense approach to bird care. I recently lost a blue Indian Ringneck to yolk peritonitis. My daughters just surprised me with a 2 month-old green pied Indian Ringneck. I was so surprised.
That’s such a brilliant idea !! thank you for all your handy tips 💕I have seven budgies but they are not hand tame if I let them out from their flight cages how would they go back in have you any tips ❤️June from the UK
Hi, place a piece of spray millet in their cage when you want them to go. Avoid giving them spray millet at any other time except for when you want them in the cage.
That's where I got mine, it's the same that I bird toy making company uses. I use it without issues. If there is a contact number for the company, give them a call and ask about the color just to be sure
Yes that's true. The female won't lay anymore, however if she isn't incubating them you could take them away but it's best to wait a week or a bit longer. Take away anything that looks like a nest including large food bowls or sleepy huts. Make sure to let her have 10 to 12 hours uninterrupted sleep.
Love the idea, but unfortunately my birds are overweight and I measure and keep track of everything they eat. I think for me personally it will be an additional problem.

Hi Donna, I’ve found the crinkle paper at the dollar store but how do I know if it’s bird safe colouring? It doesn’t say on the packet :(

My birds laid eggs but aren’t incubating them and my mom told me to keep them there so they won’t lay anymore. Any advice?

Love the idea, but unfortunately my birds are overweight and I measure and keep track of everything they eat.

You could put their measured food in the tray and that way they will be more active and loose some weight.
You can also just use foot toys
will do, thank you for the tip 👍
