- Sooo... I've decided to change the name of my shop and my UA-cam channel to the Salt City Workshop.
In this video I make a new Shop Logo With My CNC and give the reasons Why I Changed The Name Of My Woodshop. The sign is made from walnut and Hickory and is my first CNC project (well project that wasn't a test piece) so there were plenty of good learning opportunities.

Never stop creating! - Навчання та стиль
Nice little CNC project for your first. Like the logo. I only have one critique - Utah is FULL don't encourage people to move here! (joking of course, we love it here too)
Haha. I feel the same way. Too many people moving here. Utah was the best kept secret for awhile, now… not so much. Thanks for the compliment!
Great project! I love the look of the sign and the new logo. I'm going through a rebranding right now myself and hope to have everything done by November. Keep an eye on the sign in the warmer and more humid months. I don't know if wood movement/grain direction will be an issue or not with how small the pieces are, but I'd hate for the sign to blow out! Looking forward to more from Salt City Workshop! - Joe
Thanks for the comment Joe! I'm not sure if the pieces will have much movement with how small they are, and the fact that they aren't inlayed I don't think it will have any issue with the grain direction. either way I'll have to keep an eye on it. best of luck with your rebranding as well.
@@SaltCityWorkshop well fingers crossed that all will be good! If not, I’m sure you know somebody who can make another one 😉 - Joe
Nice sign! A way to have saved yourself work lining back up you could have used the negative from the walnut as a stencil
Do a see an Idaho plate in the driveway?
Yeah that’s a good idea!
I don’t think so. Not in our driveway at least. No Idaho plates here!
