The First Descendant is an upcoming third-person cooperative action RPG shooter in which you can play as Descendants who inherited the unknown powers and make them stronger to fight against the invaders and protect humans. The game is being developed by NEXON Games Co., Ltd. and will be published by NEXON Korea Corp. on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One later this year.

This game has fused 3 different games, Destiny,Warframe and Anthem.
Can’t say I feel optimistic about it.

Definitely has an Outriders type vibe to me, hopefully the story element makes playing worthwhile - looks promising from this 2 hour game slice so far though. What type of monetisation is there likely to be if free to play - cosmetics/skins, weapons, special upgrades, battle passes etc ?
Looks like it may have the anthem problem of basic enemies needing a whole clip to take it down. I mean don't tone down difficulty but I shouldn't need 50 rounds for enemy fodder...

Are they adding the BGM for the final game? The test i took part in last year wasnt featuring any BGM either, and it kills the immersion really.
You can add what bgm music you like on the background, isnt that better?

This is my one problem with the game, i enjoyed the core gameplay, but the lack of music made everything feel kinda lifeless.

So is this game a true free to play like Warframe or do you have to pump out money to pay the win?
Warframe is "Free to grind", not really free to play entirely.
Your inventory is incredibly limited, and the only way to buy more is with premium currency, but you can of course trade for that - but new players will struggle to get to the worthwhile grind.
So technically Warframe is free to play, but it's not very enjoyable between 5-100 hours, since this is where you hit the wall in terms of inventory and gear progression.
There's also time-gated crafting, which is probably the only reason I quit after 1500 hours, I didn't mind the long gear grind - that was enjoyable and progress I felt.
But the it hits you with 24 hour quest craft, and you just have to accept that or pay the premium for skipping it. (apparently they changed some quest craft timers, but idk)
Warframe is the game that is nearly a perfect free to play, but it fell short near the finish line.
This is far from Warframe.
Or do you see fast paced fluent movement?

Online. Although you can play Solo Same as destiny.

@@YourAlgerianAceLooks pretty much identical to Destiny. Launch mission from social hub to large open planet, interact with patrol beacons for missions. And run into other players while doing said patrols. Even has darkness zones that limit respawning.

Looks like Anthem with less maneuverability 😬 We all know how that turned out.
Anthem turned out bad because of numerous bugs and awful loot like flamethrowers with negative range and 0 ammo capacity. It was well known after launch the starter assault rifle had the best stats in the entire game despite being a common drop.
I do agree with you on bad maneuverability though. This looks like Warframe and Destiny. Both those games have much faster paced combat with jumping around compared this. So I too think is gonna do poorly unless they have great end game or story writing.
Voice acting is p shit and the story feels like a carbon copy of so many others... Thanks for the gameplay, im good 🫣
Cute but the AI of the enemies is terrible... everyone running to death. A little too easy. We’ll see
So later on in the game they spawn like 30 times the amount of enemies played the beta
lol, Grafik ok. aber alles sieht so billig aus, die Menüs und das HUD wirkt so schlecht. glaub das spiel wird n klein erfolg sein aber nix grosses.
