How to Use PayPal in South Africa WITHOUT an FNB Bank Account

Also there is an alarming amount of people contacting me wanting to send me money via PayPal and then wanting me to EFT it to them.
Don't send your money to strangers on the internet people. That is NEVER a good idea.
You're going to get scammed one day and cry.
Just because you've watched someone on UA-cam doesn't mean you can trust them not to run away with your money.

Hi Lauren. I opened my Paypal account years ago. I want to start using it now but wonder whether I should rather close it and re-register? When I try to link to my bank, it only gives me US banks. Please advise! 🙂
Do fnb charge more if you withdraw to a Capitec account compared to withdrawing to a fnb account?

Hi Lauren. I have never worked online before so your guidance is helping a lot. I want to ask two questions . When creating the FNB online banking profile , do I enter my atm card number as my account number ? After entering my VAT number as well , will FNB notify me over a period of time on how much the tax amount to be paid ? Being a newbie I'm still learning?

I have a question, can you link your PayPal to any south African Bank account eg like you said linking non fnb bank account to PayPal and I can receive my payment with my own bank account such as Absa or Tymebank?

Thank you so much for sharing this information. However I am still struggling and hope you can help me please. I had done all the steps, I linked my card, Paypal deducted $2, I put in the code, however, the Paypal balance/information does NOT show when I log in to FNB. I had already set up Paypal on FNB as I do not have a FNB account. What do I need to do in order to see the balance under Paypal in "My Bank Account" so I can make a withdrawal? Thanks

You fill in the form your bank details of the bank you want linked.
