I had a very janky set-up where I was trying to balance a phone mounted tripod on my lap while playing through my phone's camera recording screen so it was uh... a bit difficult. EDIT: It seems as though Childe doesn't have a weak point, so disregard some comments during his fight.
I use my tablet and I don’t miss too many shots on ganyu honestly, it’s really fun and not that bad, the charge up time gives me time to aim, unlike with Normal charged shots i don’t feel rushed to shot
Ganyu charged attack with the viri hunt bow, those poor pigeons, little birds, storks, squirrels, foxes, boars and fishes. She is the goddess of the hunt.

Allegedly despite being a humanoid model that clearly has a head, that you'd think is a weak point, Childe as a boss doesn't actually have a weak point at all. Makes aiming at his head useless and you're better off just shooting at his chest for a bigger target. Of course this also means prototype crescent isn't particularly amazing against him but that's just kind of bad luck. Still not as bad as the wolf boss just being immune to cryo damage completely.
it seems it will still proc on second hit, not sure why but it does, people have tested this on ganyu and it still works and is one the best 4 star bows on her, other one close is blackcliff, since prototype is craftable and most free to play won't have the starglitter. Glad she's strong even with 4 star bow you don't have to get her 5 star, it improve her damage but she will do insane damage without it, just got get good RNG on those artifact pieces. To bad she can only snipe her auto attack animations are terrible there's no way to make her physical dps build
@@SuperUsman11 It's hard to know for sure on that because Ganyu gets the same buff arrows after every charged shot for 5 seconds due to her Undivided Heart passive that increases follow up shots crit rate by 20%. Basically means that she'll constantly have a visual buff effect if you're firing charged shots.
tip for mobiles: if you're playing using a bow char. you can activate the "gyro aiming" option on your in-game settings. doing so will make it easier to aim because you're essentially aiming by tilting your phone to the enemy. it'll help if you're playing on phones but not so great on ipad unless you're constantly holding it lol. it'll take some time to get use to it too but it'll smooth your aiming once you got the hang of it
In open world for sniping hilichurls and nuking bosses most people will be fine with her, but once you bring her into high abyss with prolonged combat scenarios she will start to fall off compare to other more consistent top carries if you don't have stellar executional skills.

If your familiar with how amber plays she’s a head shot sniper and head shots always crit but since it’s a three star weapon it has low base attack and it won’t do as much dmg as a four or five star obviously and I’m not number nerd but 48% increased dmg against weak sounds alright to me. Uh but yeah it’s... her last option if you have better options go for them, but I don’t so I gotta play her like I play amber. Take full advantage of weak spots. Also her charge attack is insane so... , if you can get her wanders troupe set the 4pc boosts charged attacks by I think 35% but I think bolide increase charged attacks by 40% but I think only if shielded, but I hear ganyu is very fragile so that shouldn’t be an issue
Genshin Fact: Weekly Bosses don't have weak points. So even if you hit Childe's head of his hit box, you won't get bonus damage. Slimes, Hypostatsis, and even Geovishaps don't as well. Though the Regisvines do once you break the crystal.
Against Stormterror going into Aiming mode would solve the camera resetting, as in aiming mode the character immediately starts charging another arrow after shooting
Ganyu's passive talent grants 20% bonus Cryo damage for characters in her Ult AOE, so it's kinda worth it just flipping it on while fighting Storm Terror

If you wanna go tryhard it is actually less dps to do "r-mode". It is slightly faster to do charge attacks by holding the mouse button. And you have to wait for the attack to charge up so you can use the time to aim anyway. But ye if youre not going to tryhard just press r.
@@lightblue8818 This is wrong, you can animation cancel Ganyu's R by recasting and cut the time by a few frames. I don't do this since it is difficult to time the frames while fighting but this will get the most out of her aimed shot dps.
I have my Ganyu at about almost 50% crit rate and I think that's definitely the perfect mark for her if youre running 4 piece BS or double cryo as she basically always crits and always hits very hard. I'm currently working on getting her weapon to 90 and I think once that's done she might be able to hit for 30/31k per crit on bloom which is insane.

I'm watching this video while waiting for Ganyu rerun, great video! I've been wanting Ganyu for a long time now and I have everything ready for her. My crit rate to crit dmg worries me though (55% CR - 140% CD, 4pc Wanderers, Amos bow) but excited for her either way. :)
You should probably be able to one cycle Stormterror with Ganyu if you enter ranged shot mode, mostly because you have a lot of wasted time with the reset camera if you’re just holding down the attack button

i have been saving for ganyu, im completely f2p and have the absolute worst artif luck. (i keep getting pyro dmg bonus main stat on blizzard strayer) i have no gauranteed, an have 42 pity already rn i have 65 wishes saved so far and genshin is giving us at least 13 wishes when part two comes out this coming tuesday so im really nervous i was hoping to have enough wishes to get her gauranteed if i lose the 50/50 but that hasnt worked out. I have enough stuff to get her to at least 70 almost 80 and thats fine cause i am not ar 50 only 48 and enough to lvl her talents a bit but ive been nervous so good luck to everyone wishing on her rerun youve got this!
i kinda wish that when you trialed characters they let you trial each of their constellations to see if it’s worth it for you to get them. cause descriptions sometimes have confusing wording and maybe it’s just that my brain doesn’t like words but i do kinda wish we could do that
this is prolly the most useful ganyu build video i've watched since she came out ! so thank you !! as a completely F2P player, i don't have any 5S weapons for her yet and this helped me realise that my entire build for my ganyu could be better ! :D
Yeah, my Ganyu is currently lv78 constellation 2. I'm using the 4 piece cryo set and a lv90 Battle Pass Bow. Soloing Ocean boss is pretty easy cause the freeze proc always happens. Just time your dodges I guess. Stormterror is stupid ez. Shoot at him from the ground from the other side though. And yeah, dropping your ult as well helps. My first attempt against Childe was the lv70 version because I didn't want to get TOO ahead of myself. But with how ez that went over, I'll try lv80 next. I'm noticing that Ganyu's biggest weakness is enemies that swarm you, or enemies that rush you too fast. Beyond that, she poops on things.
i main fischl and obv i don’t use her charged attacks a lot but for that camera trouble you were having with dvalin press r and wait for it to charge between shots, it’ll hold wherever you put it and it saves time i use charged shots to do the increasing danger daily cause you don’t have to fight the enemies to complete it
I’m a phone player on Genshin impact and for me it isn’t that hard as any other games but problem is when your enemies go to the right which there isn’t that much space but over all it isn’t that hard on phone but on iPad is very hard
9:35 this bow tho 16:49 when he's going to explode jump in the water doing the weapon fall animation then you will go under water when the explosion occur so you will take any damage
I just pulled her. Using my starglitter saving and did 20 pull... she came in the very last pull.. and that hit pity 79 and i don't have any hero wits, mora, fragile resin, also pirmogems left.
Heart Of Depth, Blizzard Strayer and Wanderer's Troupe are fantastic artifacts for solo Ganyu. Retracing Bolide is also very good if you have a consistent source of shielding. Bloodstained Chivalry is also a plus, but you have to kill an enemy to get the 50% Charged attack bonus.
Against stormterror you're probably actually better off using aimed shot mode so you don't have to deal with the camera kicking you out and changing where you're looking after every shot. It's not like you need to worry about the boss doing anything when he's just lying on the ground for the DPS phase and there's no other enemies to worry about. Also despite potentially being a "waste of time" in terms of the damage from the burst it's still likely worth using it just for the 20% increased cryo damage while you're standing in the AoE. You can also drop it during or just before the boss actually falls down when you're not really able to deal DPS to begin with. Not to say it's necessary as you can fairly easily 1-phase him even without the damage bonus.
C2 and C4 are the only ones to really go for IMO. I got ganyu at C2 and I’m still deciding to pull for C4 or just stop. Right now running her with max refine stringless and her hit does 6k and her explosion does 10k which is nice, so 16k for her charged shot. my cup has cryo as well level 20 but my sub stats are , 2 def, 2 Hp, what are the chances ?!?!
@@basdijkstra5668 no thats her explosive dmg, with her charge shot, i do like 16k total, so 6k for the first hit and then 10k for the aoe attack which is pretty decent i think
@@NightcoreChase Still on the very, very low end of the spectrum of damage. The explosive damage (I guess you mean her E) is not what makes up most of your damage. Using the stringless is just not beneficial on Ganyu at all unless you run her purely as a support.
For the Oceanid boss, I found out from another video that you can dodge the big ball of water AOE from killing certain enemy groups by jumping into the water outside the arena. I'm not sure if you have to time it perfectly that you dive into the water as it explodes, but it's worth a test since I can't figure out how else to easily avoid that blast.

You can see buff arrow when he is fighting childe. So it's definitely working unless the buff is something else.

I'm watching this video while waiting for Ganyu rerun, great video! I've been wanting Ganyu for a long time now and I have everything ready for her. My crit rate to crit dmg worries me though (55% CR - 140% CD, 4pc Wanderers, Amos bow) but excited for her either way. :)
Don't worry bc at lvl 90 she gets 88% free crit dmg as well as 20% crit rate on her 2nd charge

You should probably be able to one cycle Stormterror with Ganyu if you enter ranged shot mode, mostly because you have a lot of wasted time with the reset camera if you’re just holding down the attack button

I am f2p w ganyu and also have r4 prototype crescent. I would really reccomend it to other f2p because it is much easier to refine than most bows.

Prototype crescent is def a very good bow, except it might be easier getting amos thn prototype drops :p
i have been saving for ganyu, im completely f2p and have the absolute worst artif luck. (i keep getting pyro dmg bonus main stat on blizzard strayer) i have no gauranteed, an have 42 pity already rn i have 65 wishes saved so far and genshin is giving us at least 13 wishes when part two comes out this coming tuesday so im really nervous i was hoping to have enough wishes to get her gauranteed if i lose the 50/50 but that hasnt worked out. I have enough stuff to get her to at least 70 almost 80 and thats fine cause i am not ar 50 only 48 and enough to lvl her talents a bit but ive been nervous so good luck to everyone wishing on her rerun youve got this!

i kinda wish that when you trialed characters they let you trial each of their constellations to see if it’s worth it for you to get them. cause descriptions sometimes have confusing wording and maybe it’s just that my brain doesn’t like words but i do kinda wish we could do that

Hey you can use the "R" aiming mode to kill stormterror since it doesn't mess with the camera.

Yeah, my Ganyu is currently lv78 constellation 2.
I'm using the 4 piece cryo set and a lv90 Battle Pass Bow. Soloing Ocean boss is pretty easy cause the freeze proc always happens. Just time your dodges I guess.
Stormterror is stupid ez. Shoot at him from the ground from the other side though. And yeah, dropping your ult as well helps.
My first attempt against Childe was the lv70 version because I didn't want to get TOO ahead of myself. But with how ez that went over, I'll try lv80 next.
I'm noticing that Ganyu's biggest weakness is enemies that swarm you, or enemies that rush you too fast. Beyond that, she poops on things.
I just hope that yall know there is a gyroscop aiming at mobiles...

@@erenplatinum881 it uses your phone gyroscope to help aim. You tilt your phone to aim. It's like joycons for the Nintendo switch or vr controllers.
It makes everything easier
When I activate it it just lets me aim from top to bottom, it really isn't that useful

i main fischl and obv i don’t use her charged attacks a lot but for that camera trouble you were having with dvalin press r and wait for it to charge between shots, it’ll hold wherever you put it and it saves time
i use charged shots to do the increasing danger daily cause you don’t have to fight the enemies to complete it
I’m a phone player on Genshin impact and for me it isn’t that hard as any other games but problem is when your enemies go to the right which there isn’t that much space but over all it isn’t that hard on phone but on iPad is very hard

for the oceanid fight, if you jum-dive into the water, and time it right, you dodge the oceanid bombs. only works if you have stamina ofc.

Yeah, the plunge attack, you can also go over it so climbing geo constructs, venti e hold, and keqing dash up would also probably work

You can actually enable gyroscope when you’re playing on mobile. It’s pretty easy to run and aim with the gyro on. Try it!!
How to do it?
I've using Ganyu with bolide set, trust me its good (if you have shielder like Xinyan or Zhongli)
just got her used up all my resin for the free wishes and used the starglitter to buy intertwined i have 0 fragile resin now but atleast i have ganyu

she came in the very last pull.. and that hit pity 79
and i don't have any hero wits, mora, fragile resin, also pirmogems left.

Heart Of Depth, Blizzard Strayer and Wanderer's Troupe are fantastic artifacts for solo Ganyu. Retracing Bolide is also very good if you have a consistent source of shielding. Bloodstained Chivalry is also a plus, but you have to kill an enemy to get the 50% Charged attack bonus.

Against stormterror you're probably actually better off using aimed shot mode so you don't have to deal with the camera kicking you out and changing where you're looking after every shot. It's not like you need to worry about the boss doing anything when he's just lying on the ground for the DPS phase and there's no other enemies to worry about. Also despite potentially being a "waste of time" in terms of the damage from the burst it's still likely worth using it just for the 20% increased cryo damage while you're standing in the AoE. You can also drop it during or just before the boss actually falls down when you're not really able to deal DPS to begin with. Not to say it's necessary as you can fairly easily 1-phase him even without the damage bonus.

I recommend trying her with some shield supports, let's her do whatever she wants without interruption and solves the glass cannon issue.
C2 and C4 are the only ones to really go for IMO. I got ganyu at C2 and I’m still deciding to pull for C4 or just stop. Right now running her with max refine stringless and her hit does 6k and her explosion does 10k which is nice, so 16k for her charged shot. my cup has cryo as well level 20 but my sub stats are , 2 def, 2 Hp, what are the chances ?!?!
Highly suggest finding another bow, stringless is only for a support Ganyu. Hitting 10k is on the very low end of damage.
@@basdijkstra5668 no thats her explosive dmg, with her charge shot, i do like 16k total, so 6k for the first hit and then 10k for the aoe attack which is pretty decent i think
@@NightcoreChase Still on the very, very low end of the spectrum of damage. The explosive damage (I guess you mean her E) is not what makes up most of your damage. Using the stringless is just not beneficial on Ganyu at all unless you run her purely as a support.

For the Oceanid boss, I found out from another video that you can dodge the big ball of water AOE from killing certain enemy groups by jumping into the water outside the arena. I'm not sure if you have to time it perfectly that you dive into the water as it explodes, but it's worth a test since I can't figure out how else to easily avoid that blast.
Or u can use zhongli haha
