- Some more thoughts I’m having post-reaction… This song is about making mistakes, self-destructing, downward spiraling, surrendering to inner-world chaos and addictions… Maybe some resentment?? I think some of us won’t admit that we have wronged people by giving in to our self-interest at the expense of others.
I can deeply appreciate this song for its lyrics, and I fully enjoy the original music video (and even the original tempo) for the simple fact that it’s somewhat of a satirized skit, like, it’s ridiculous to even have these addictions right?? And now we have to check into rehab and go through all of that BS to be “decent people”?! It’s much more fun to loaf around and forget the world outside of you exists. Our inner world matters way more, right?? Hahaha geeez.
BUT…
I appreciate this revamped video so much more. I am getting a sense of growth on his end. He is able to recognize and conceptualize what it looks like to lose control and lose proper sight of oneself. The vampire who lives in the dark is defeated, he is surrenders himself to his fate - the law of cause and effect - and is forced to face the sun in the end. I think what brought a wave of emotion over me was how much you can feel his pains and struggles just by how energetic his performance and expression is. AHHH SO AMAZING, so beautifully done. It is possible that there can be people who shed the skin of who they once were and find growth in doing so.
It’s no secret Ronnie Radke has a sh*t past. Do you think it’s possible to be a recovered a-hole? I do. Lol

I think this song was my introduction into falling in reverse and ronnie. He's so talented. He can sing, he can rap, he do harsh vocals. He can also play the piano. He's awesome. Only thing I'm gonna say is that he's had a tough life and still does, but he does his best. I'm a big fan of his. Btw great reaction. Love that you made it clear that the comments are about his music not hate over his past or present. Keep up the good work.
i agree - i can resonate with him at times. mainly his sobriety story & overcoming his [pretty ugly] past mistakes. i believe most people can have a second chance, and it's no wonder he is not afraid of being raw and honest with people. this dude has been through it, he owns up to his shit, and he really isn't such a bad guy. i love the guy. thank you so much for watching!
oh holy hell.. i was listening this with you and at the same time doing vocals with a group karaoke party online and my neighrbors are PISSED... i just had to tell the police that everything was ok and i explained what was going on. thankfully they both love Falling In Reverse.

I have heard about Ronnie and FIR for a couple of years.Thought they were some shitty boy band.About 8 months ago i saw the video for zombified.i was like the fuck.took me back to my teen days in the 80s.then i tried popular monster was like fuck this is some rap shit (despite liking maybe 1 percent of the rap out there and 99 percent of it is independent political driven) so i shut it down.Then i saw the reimagined songs and was like holy fuck this guy is a modern day Mozart.Today popular monster is one of my faves.They will never be as legendary as Van Halen or Chuck berry or even Cash but FIR IS my all time fave rock band.Vocally he crushes the two greatest vocalist Meat Loaf and Freddie Mercury and they are forces to be dealt with.Musically he will never top the classical guys but his talent is unmatched.If this guy never does opera i feel he has not utilized his talent to the highest level.Ronnie talent is just fucking retarded..lol.Him and Tom Mcdonald has given me my love back for music that i lost 30 years ago!!!!
