Well according to some scripts of season 2 and 3, herobrine's role wasn't actually a villain or antagonistic and he was suppossed to be tidesinger's old friend

@@FatalSoap1 obiously the fractures series took a different path, each fandom sees herobrine as different person although did you know the first minecraft entity wasn't herobrine instead it was a long forgotten entity only refered as white eyes, herbrine is just a inspiration of that entity, but atleast white eyes story was real since it has real information rather than having story in creepypasta forum or wiki
