I have followed you you for awhile. I started watching before my GB surgery. Just wanted to say you are an inspiration!!! I ran my first 5k last year and am currently training for a 10k. Love following along and watching all the accomplishments!!!!
Sometimes we’re our own worst critic. Consider telling a friend in your situation the same things you’re telling yourself (that losing weight with surgery is easy, etc). You wouldn’t! Be your own friend and be kind to yourself!
The only way I can describe the vanilla is "thick". I'm trying to use up the last of my Gu gels; I prefer the Huma ones (fruity flavours) as they're more like watered down jam than a thick, sickly sweet paste. I'm going to test out some energy gummies on my next long run and see how they do.
Gels are gross! I've never liked them. I like the gummies better. Getting on your own to do the training is THE hardest part. You can find a million reasons not to. I've done it myself! You're doing FAN-freakin-TASTIC!

That's a very important reminder! We really are so much harder on ourselves than we'd ever be to someone else.
WLS and surgery are great tools, but simply tools. You are putting in the hard work that goes along with it! Never feel like a fraud. ❤
