I'm surprised that you left out ff12 ff9 the original ff7 and other one,s that wasn't as easy as you think they are interesting thoughts anyway thanks for sharing🤔🙏
FF13 just because I hated the characters & the story was boring. It was so hard to finish that game because unlike every other FF game, FF13 was just so bland & uninspired that I just didn't find myself being able to care about what happens to Lightning & her crew or where the plot went next no matter how many chances I gave the game👎
Final fantasy 11 and Final fantasy 14 not not hard to beat because they are not real Final Fantasy games. Tactics too. Redo the F U C K I N G list mojoplays.
3. It's even harder if you're going for the 100% completion (I.E finishing all the minigames and sidequests), because there's an abundance of minigames from the chocobo races, piano pieces, queens blood matches, etc. Made all the more frustrating by the fact that FF7 Rebirth is a LOOOONG GAME! Some of these chapters took me days to complete.
I haven't played Lightning Returns, yet, but didn't find XIII bad at all (well, except when I forgot how Eidolon fights worked and kept failing to end the Bahamut fight). XIII-2, on the other hand is...well, the main story and casino DLC aren't too bad, but the Lightning and arena DLCs are bastards.
Actually FF 7 Remake on Hard mode was quite fun. And not as hard as you would think without mp refill. Just use Chakra and Pray. Soon i will start with Rebirth.
@@ardasevmis7583 it was one of the easiest from those 5, just let 2 characters get healed by fire damage. Elemental + Fire on armor. Shiva and Leviathan were harder for me.
Is it even possible to actually "complete" an mmo? Don't those types of games exist on a nearly endless stream of patches, updates, and new content; until the player base dries up and the servers get shut down because the games are no longer profitable?
There was a point in my life where I broke so many controllers, that my buddy and I had a conversation about what my next controller would be, because I was contemplating going wireless, and he said, "Why so you can throw it further?!"Couldn't ask for a better friend than that lol.
Feel the need to correct something here, what you described for Rebirth's hard mode really only applies to Remake. You can in fact restore HP/MP on benches in the overworld using cushions.
I'll get hate but I enjoyed 13. Was it the best FF, hell no. Was the story convoluted, yup. Did it have best girl in FF history, yup. I usually prefer hard modes, but Remake she Rebirth's hard mode...well earned difficulty name
Um.... No, final fantasy 8 isn't hard. And as I have commented numerous times, the junction system isn't complicated in the slightest. There is literally an in-game tutorial for it that you are forced to start watching (up to you if you want to be an idiot and skip it). But what exactly is difficult about "put spell against stat, make stat number go up"? Sure, the level scaling makes things more complicated if you're not junctioning properly, but that's the case with any game when you're not managing your equipment properly. It's a basic system with depth if you're willing to learn it properly. Add to that the hugely exploitable card mod system (now THAT sidequest is the one you should pick on for never being explained) and the only enemies that will give you a challenge will be Omega and a couple of other bosses.
The Omega Protocol in FFXIV beats any challenges any other FF game throws at you. It's THAT hard. Our static took 4months to master and finish the entire fight flawlessly.
I feel like I won't even try any Ultimate ever. Watching the guide for UCOB made me realize I just don't have time to grind and try to learn such a loooooong fight. Some easier Savages is where i draw the line xD
I am 43. In my life, I have only bought one guide for a game. FF tactics when I was 15. I was not a multiple slot saver. At 30 hours, I got f'ed by the Wiegraf fight. I was underlevelled by about 5, and did not have Ramza trained in a suitable job for the fight. I tried everything. It was impossible. I bought the guide. And finally came to the realization I had to restart my game. TO this day, F you Wiegraf.
Yep..if you know what your character can do,you can easily cheezy it. The only thing i find it hard, was late in the gate where you need to split your team into 2,1 magical and 1 physical. Had to restart the whole sequence
Final Fantasy 10 & 13 were just too much even tho I enjoyed both. Got the Platinum for 7, 13-2, 15 & Remake but the rest were just too much especially 13 & as much as I adored Lightning Returns, I failed to platinum that. I intend to Platinum Rebirth even if there are no items allowed to be used like Remake on Hard
Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. These games was hard to ME because I never beat them. I played them all. But I never beat the story. Enough said.
Definitely agree with FF7R. But you might want to do your research a little better- cushions still restore HP AND MP so you can pretty much just fast travel to your nearest Chocobo stop and restore there and head back. Also you can still abuse your MP-absorbing abilities. So. Yeah.
FFX was my first and favorite. Had it on the PS2, then bought it again in HD on PS4. And to this day ive never got Tidus Celestial weapon upgrade because I had no desire to Brest that chocobo trainer
Lightning Returns should be on the list. And I am not even touching on the race against the clock part; pretty much every single enemy can be a huge challenge
For me, the hardest from the main series (excluding MMOS) - and the one that I have YET to complete, is strangely FF10, because from a level and onwards griding becomes slow, and I have trouble teaching the characters their strongest abilities (including the ''Holy'' spell) and the result is usually letting myself ''owned'' by the story's toughest bosses! Of course, if you get the ultimate weapons, and some secret AEONS, you may not need the strongest abilities to begin with, but as most players know, getting the game's ultimate weapons is easier said than done, so I usually never bother myself, xd!
I don't care how hard these Brilliant FF Games are! *FF VIII, VI, XIII, II, Final Fantasy Origins: Stranger of Paradise, III, VII Rebirth, XI and XIV* are all the Best Epic Badass FF Games I'll definitely Complete in 100% Completions, no matter what Super Hardcore Challenges awaits me!
I love it the FFT scene right before your duel with wiegraf! Bahahaa i even warned my friend and he leveled to 32 and still got trapped and quit. Mwuahahahaha FFT
11 was way more difficult than 14. It's literally so easy to level up in 14 and even the crafting is easy. They've had to dumb down a ton of things from 11 to make 14 more appealing to new players and people who don't want to grind for anything. 11 is probably a lot easier now because of all the updates and trying to make it like 14, but from 2003-2012 final fantasy 11 put every other final fantasy to shame in terms of difficulty. There were super bosses who remained undefeated for almost 3 years around that time. Imagine a game having a boss that nobody could beat. The JP players were always on another level though I admit
Rebirth it's just like Remake. As long as you learn to play with materias and adapt so you don't have to rely much on magic, it's a pretty easy hard mode.
XI is actually one of the easiest. The thing about XI, is the game tells you nothing.........."Go to the mountains and fetch a rock" Which mountains? Which rock? In theory, XI is hard. @@marvin_demon I haven’t played remake in hard but it wasn’t difficult in normal imo so maybe that’s doable. The last phase of the last boss in rebirth kicked my butt to next week, took me a few days and I don’t think im THAT bad of a player. Idk how to do that fight without magic/elixirs
@@boopnoodle6947 i havent played Rebirth yet, but in Remake the options with Materia are many. For example I had trouble beating the secret boss in Remake. Actually with the 4 bosses before the secret boss. And then i switched Materia so that fire damage would heal me. Put it on 2 out 3 characters. I barely had to heal so i could use the mp for elemental spells to stagger. Also using the right skills helps too. Aerith had an ability that, if you stand in her ward she put on the ground, you cast two spells for the cost of one. I do think it will be doable, with the right approach.
So basically it's 8 of the hardest Final Fantasy games and then the MMOs tacked on at the end because we all know that social anxiety is the REAL hardest boss.

Have you guys ever even played a FF game?. Sounds like someone went on each FF wiki page and ripped off info from them no original FFVII, FFX/X2, FFVIII, or FF4. Yea someone over at your office def needs to sit and play and fw entries in the series as a whole. Tsk tsk watchmojo
Ffviii was the first entry though? But otherwise agree. They can't even research enough to know that no item or mp refill on ff7r rebirth isn't even that bad when you have abilities like chakra and pray, as well as mp absorb abilities and synergy abilities that grant unlimited mp...
If 13 removed the retry option and didn't give you full health back after each battle you'd be cooked 😂 7 Rebirth is average difficultly, and 13-3 lightning returns is the hardest entry
Final Fantasy XIII is a hard game? Right, and the other entries in the series were "easy". The only difficult thing about FFXIII was that you had to grind for not only materials, but the materials that had the most Gil for you to sell to get more materials & items. FFXIII didn't drop Gil after battles like some past FF games, much like in FFVIII, its only obtained by chests and selling certain items.
@@kittylover62 I forget the name of it it is towards the end of the game where you have to go time travel to face ultimica and the friends of seifer are like nope and some monster appears

7 rebirth should not be on here considering selecting hard is a self-imposed challenge. 11 and 14 should not be on here because those are online games. Honestly I believe that 10 was more difficult than 8.
tbh unlike most people I only play a ff games for the story and that goes mostly for X and XIII, and then curiosity comes in to explore the unexplored find out hard challenges like it's own new adventure without spoiling, then you feel the best afterwards. but i gotta say XIII was the last of ff era, the new ff games was garbage story wise and gameplay (not the remakes).
Yeah, FFVIII is the most easiest i think. I even have speedrun it for 13 hours and have done no GF challange. Its all because limit mechanic and enemy leveling system. The only threat for the game is ultimacia 😅
A game being long doesn’t make a game hard. wtf… how is that even part of the argument for why III is hard? Makes no sense. That’s like saying short games aren’t worth $60
Actually, you can restore MP in Rebirth at chocobo bench. Also, game gave materia and a lot of slots to help you in hard mode. So, Rebirtg hard mode isnt that hard. 😂😂
Is that sarcasm? The game gives you plenty of ways to get around the no item restriction. Master prayer and chakra materia. Level up hp absorb, and elemental materia so you can absorb elemental damage... Use mp absorb to siphon mo from enemies. Mp refills at the start of each chapter...
I actually love Final Fantasy II. It's level up system is really innovative; also, the best way to grind your party is to focus on buffing Agility/evasion and magic defense. For a variety of reasons.
ff origins hardest, no its not, its REALLy not that hard to beat the story, same with rebirth espcially considering u have to BEAT THE GAME TO GET HARD, and putting the mmo's on this list doesent really count

tbh unlike most people I only play a ff games for the story and that goes mostly for X and XIII, and then curiosity comes in to explore the unexplored find out hard challenges like it's own new adventure without spoiling, then you feel the best afterwards.
but i gotta say XIII was the last of ff era, the new ff games was garbage story wise and gameplay (not the remakes).
I didnt find FF8 that hard, as long as you realiced that dont rush, and do some level farming and it became quite easy.
Yeah, FFVIII is the most easiest i think. I even have speedrun it for 13 hours and have done no GF challange. Its all because limit mechanic and enemy leveling system. The only threat for the game is ultimacia 😅
Tactics is actually easy lol GRANTED you know how to use the job system well.
So what you mean is the hardest games to beat, not complete. Got it.
A game being long doesn’t make a game hard. wtf… how is that even part of the argument for why III is hard? Makes no sense.
That’s like saying short games aren’t worth $60
How does the price of a game have anything to do with difficulty? I lost brain cells reading your post
Can someone tell WatchMojo a long game doesn't equal a hard game?
Can someone tell you to upload your own video and form your own opinion on it to see what comments you get?
Wheres 4 3d remake?
This dude is lying about the bench only restoring hp. It restores both hp and mp 🤦♂️
He is half right about the benches on Hard mode. Only chocobo rest stops restore mp while playing on hard.
❤❤❤💖💖💖💖amazing 💙🌼
No Final Fantasy XII?
Rebirth is not impossible, Chocobo Stop replenish MP and honestly...im on Chapter 14...it's not that tough on Hard mode lol
Um, excuse me, where was FF5?
Actually, you can restore MP in Rebirth at chocobo bench. Also, game gave materia and a lot of slots to help you in hard mode. So, Rebirtg hard mode isnt that hard. 😂😂
Hard mode is impossible in the FFVII Remakes with no items being available
Huh???? I platinumed ff7 remake easily on hard. It just takes the right setup.
I could not beat FFXIII and FFX-2. So boring that I couldn’t get invested.
And on the other side of the scale... easiest FF to beat is......
Mystic Quest
No final fantasy is technically hard just long because when you have to grind 10 levels just defeat a boss it gets bland quick
XIII blocks you off from lv grinding and X to a degree as well
thirteenth game is not that hard but if you hate linearity then…
