Canucks need to add another top forward and a third line defensive help

They have had a hot start and its been a nice suprise. But we’ve seen the basement that this core is capble of hitting, and it isn’t pretty. I think that its foolish to throw away the idea of a rebuild the minute boeser scored 4 in the firsr game.
Luckily, a lot of the contracts are coming off the books next year. So if we can draft well, we might look ok for the next 5 years. Vegas, LA, anaheim are all gonna be a force over the next decade. Its important not to get too hot or cold on these manners. The goal is the stanley cup and i’m not sure this core has what it takes to win it.

it doesnt mean anything. Its one game in a long season. Yes they had some lapses but vegas plays the trap game so once you get a down a goal or two its almost impossible to come back. Every team has games they wish they played differently. Dont put any stock in this loss its just part of the season.

Actually they have… Derk, Diduck and Murzyn were giants during the Pat Quinn era. That was the squad that pushed the Rangers to game 7 in the final.
