Love you, too. Yes! I almost wish I hadn't noticed that about the shine. I wonder why they opted to make it more matte. I definitely prefer the more lustrous original version.
I thought it was just me that noticed that. I hope they don't change the entire range (including the old ones).

They aren’t lip stains, so they transfer a bit, not like a lipstick, but like a colored lip balm would.
