This is not my MMJ! I'M 38 yrs old and watched them from the start! Shoot my weddding song was their NOT bandwagon song but this is not the MMJ I KNOW!! Song i had for may wedding is THANK YOU TOO!! i disagree with most commenters here, although ive never liked this band. but this song is a banger. i think it rocks pretty hard, and has a spectacular vocal performance.
Boy, you have a lot of homework to do. This turd is something Jim James used to shit out two or three times per album in the late '00s. The first two songs released from this album are a LOT stronger and are the best MMJ songs in over a decade.
I agree. This is the only song that jumped out at me after my first listen through of this new record.

The mix is dull I guess they're trying something different. I think they should have released this before the waterfall II because following up that was gonna be a tall order.

absolutely love MMJ first three albums and i remember how i was so shocked at how much i loved The Waterfall. it was a surprising return to the magic they had in the early 2000s. with this new album, it has all the right things in place, but i’m not an overall fan of the production choices. sounds a little bit bland and way less atmospheric. the songs are well written though. i just think this band sounds incredible when they go for the more atmospheric side. just my two cents

Guys makes the best rhythms best transitions best quality lyrics and sound. Its like a Learning experience .i appreciate and thank this band for making such complex music that is so simple
I loved Tennessee Fire thru Z but didn’t really care for the change in sound with Evil Urges. Enjoyed the 2 Waterfall albums but this seems like another change in sound, third-wave MMJ. Will have to wait to hear the whole album before I judge though.
TF to Z is such a brilliant stretch of albums, dont really listen to anything after Z. God, Z is such a fantastic album.
