😀In a way, I thought these bumpers were funny.... 😭 Moreover, I feel like crying because we don't watch as much funny stuff nor laugh with each other anymore. 😭
I hated those bumpers when they were out with the Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Show ca. 1979-1981. They weren’t natural and didn’t blend in with it. Especially with a goofy looking kid throwing a blimp as a football. But in the early 1980’s they were replaced with more Space Invaders and Tron styled bumpers and I liked them much better.
I was born towards the end of 1974 so I want to say that these bumpers are too old for me to remember but "We will return after these messages." written on three levels of scarf seems vaguely familiar, and I remember watching at least Mighty Mouse and Heckle and Jeckle on CBS (WCAX-3 from Burlington VT, which I could watch in Montreal).
Imagine making a homage, but using SHAREfactory from PS4/5. But using video games as titles. For example, Bayonetta will return after (the Daily Fix and) these messages. And now back to Bayonetta.
@@JorgeCruz-eo7js How about this: The World's Greatest Superfriends will return after these messages. And now back to The World's Greatest Superfriends.
I don’t remember no new adventures with Mighty Mouse and Heckle and Jeckle. They were 1940’s and 1950’s cartoons added with Looney Tunes on weekdays to our local NBC affiliate 3-4.
Filmation produced new Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle episodes in the late 70s, and introduced Quacula cartoons to this new series! In between teaching segments in this new segments featured Mighty Mouse talk about saving the planet, and H & J demonstrating homonyms!
I think the commercial outro bumper for the satellite might have been an astronaut on the moon using a video camera to take a picture of the earth! It had this weird spacey background noise!
I was only a little girl then. No bother, I'd want a seamstress girlfriend who can make me my girly favorites in my size as a woman, and I can watch some more mature animation; giggle!!😍
@@RolandTaylorJr You are right, somewhat. ABC & NBC debuted their lineup on September 22, 1979. CBS debuted their lineup 2 weeks earlier (September 8, 1979).
Their (CBS) first official Saturday Morning bumpers, ever.
The first set all have a flight theme. In spite of the promos focused on a TV that becomes a Pinball machine.

@@RolandTaylorJr I only like Quacula. Even though... Duckula was better.
For the other two, I prefer the original shorts.
WPIX-TV (channel 11) in NYC back in 1979/80 had the Mighty Mouse cartoons in mornings which was strictly on the 1940’s cartoons.
