- The We Love Local fund is dedicated to supporting independently owned Westfield businesses during this unprecedented time during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Westfield United Fund has generously partnered with the Town of Westfield to help our local businesses and their employees devastated by the Coronavirus Crisis.
THE WESTFIELD UNITED FUND WILL MATCH THE FIRST $15,000 WE RECEIVE DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR.
Thank you to John Rzeznik, lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls and resident of Westfield, for launching this effort with his porch concert.

Holy, imagine walking out your house to get groceries to walk into a John Rzeznik concert.
I live 5 min away from John and l actually saw him at ShopRite. I was in line behind him and was like holy shit that’s the guy from GG Dolls

Westfield is by far my favorite town in the world. My aunt and uncle used to live there, the Luckenbaughs, and I used to go out and visit every summer and I absolutely love that town. It still has the most incredible feel. I took my wife up about two or three years ago and showed her the town and where my aunt and uncle lived. I couldn’t believe I remembered the street, because I had not been up there since I was probably 13 or 14 years old.. Kind of old school, with a modern tinge to it. I would do anything to live up there. In any case, John couldn’t have moved to a better town. It is very relaxed and pretty there. And it’s a hop, skip and jump from New York, which you can just catch the subway right down the street. Maybe one day I’ll join him there.

John, you are such a genuinely good guy, I do think there is someone impersonating you on UA-cam! I really hope it was not you... If it was please forgive me, you cannot be too careful these days! Some person using your name wanted to chat, said that they were along with the GOOGOODOLL team making fans happy?? Anyway, when they said they could not show their pictures or video chat because they had been hacked, I deleted them! Just be aware of fakers out there people!! Fan for life! I did meet you once you were so sweet, the whole band was, you treated us with kindness, and you even gave my daughter a neckless when she wanted your glasses lol I could never thank you enough for that!!
