I have learned a lot from your video's from repairs, trouble shooting, and new trolling motor comparisons. Thanks for taking the time to make your videos.

hello love the videos, i have all Garmin graphs and wanted to know by getting the force is networking contour lines, is this the only feature that is a advantage for having the force. I do not do any of that. I mainly crappie fish, looking for structure. i realize that min kota has been in the game a lot long. thank you for your time

Could you address the complaints on the garmin’s foot pedal response and use with livescope? With the quest being cable steer seems like that wins out if this is a major factor in your decision. I’m torn because I have all garmin units on my boat but the livescope response to my foot is an absolute deal breaker if it’s as bad as people say.

Do you know the weight difference between 45” quest and 50” Garmin?

Great video! Ive been researching trolling motors for the past month or so and have narrowed it down to these two. How big is the difference between the feel on the foot pedals? Im leaning towards Garmin but fear the foot pedal will not be as great as the minn kota. Would love to hear your thoughts or even seen a video doing a direct comparison

So, because of shaft length. Min Kota is the answer for a pontoon?

I came out of a Ultrex to a Force.
Just ordered a new Boat with Garmin MDF’s and a Quest TM. Didn’t care for the Force at all.

can you elaborate on what you didn't care for?

@@jimk4267I had to replace the pedal. The force would back up 20 ft once spot lock was engaged. Then correct its self and blow by the original spot. It backed me into some rocks. After a lot of back and forth with garmin the Tm was replaced. It was better but by much. The Force continues to hunt even in dead calm conditions. The Quest is much better.

      @@bobbarnhill8557 thanks for the reply.
Other than the 'hunting' were you pretty satisfied with the overall package?

@@jimk4267I love Garmin MFD’s. The Force has been hit or miss for some. I didn’t want to take the chance on the Force again. The Quest is much better in my experience.

Ok I will be buying a new boat in the near future. I am a Multi Species fisherman with a Majority Walleye’s I want a tin boat with no bigger than 150hp Max in a 1875 Lund Impact. I want to avoid a second gas motor wanting to troll with the Electric motor in that 1.2-2.8 MPH. Or just use the gas motor. I also would like one Brand for everything from Electric motor 36Volts to electronics. What would fill the bill ? I believe in buying once and done. So what would buy and why ? Also who has the best Updates and affordably ? Thanks.
