I'm just so deeply in love with this phone.. I did not regret getting this last year.. It's worth the money... It just meet all my needs.. Hands down to Sony! Keep it up!

I've updated this phone to KitKat(Overlay) and it's really awesome.
I can now using DSP, Walkman etc. in this phone.
The two weak points are the ROM and RAM are too small.....
Or I gonna using it for more long time....
Too sad.

Best phone I've ever bought.
My last phone before the Ray was a K800i. I had it for 6 years and it still works great. Hope the Ray will last just as long!
I've used that phone for a while and is really amazing once you see the quality of the images and videos the display has. If possible try to visit your local Sony Mobile dealer or maybe another place that sell this phone so that you can play around with it to see if you find it convenient for you :) -Josh

i think this is the most underrated phone ever ! this phone should have been a HIT with the right marketing . i live in USA and almost no1 heard about this phone but comparing prices and specs this is in top 5 phones u can find ! i hope 1 day to see ray2 , ill be waiting outside the store to buy it :) , good job Xperia team on all the updates , my 4.0.4 ver with 587 kernel is fast and smooth

It depends on the store where you purchased it from. Try to contact the store where you purchased the phone from and confirm with what was supposed to come in the box to see what you might be missing. -Josh

I've had this phone for over 3 months now and I'm in a 2 year contract, at first I thought I'd want to upgrade before the 2 years are up but in 1 year and 9 months I will be keeping this little gem no doubt! Every thing about it is perfect. Fast, reliable and fun to use with all the apps you can dream of? Why haven't Apple been knocked off the top spot yet!!!??

I was in a Futureshop store a few weeks ago and found this phone prepaid without contract for only $99 brand new! I couldn't resist, best phone I have ever owned and much cheaper than any others too! Battery life is outstanding, pictures look great, screen is small, but very useable, sharp and vibrant! The ICS update made it even better! Love the Xperia Ray. Sony Ericsson always makes outstanding devices!
How gorgeous it's look. Xperia ray was my first android phone. I wish that Sony entertainment network will be available on my country.

The ICS update for the Xperia™ ray is already available, however it might not be the one you purchase in Philippines yet. I'd suggest to contact your local dealer or the store where you are planning to purchase the phone from to confirm if the update is available for their phones. -Josh

On the stock Contact menu on the phone is not possible to create a group. What you can do instead is download a different Contact app from the Play Store that has this option. -Josh
@RivaultGrand I did see the video but then again since the dock bar is slightly transparent when you change the theme it looks as if it changed color as well, but it does not change though. -Josh
That depends on the type of phones that you like. The Xperia™ mini pro is more social media oriented because of the qwerty keypad, whereas the Ray and Neo have better picture and video quality. So if you like a phone with a qwerty keypad the I'd suggest to go for the Xperia™ mini pro otherwise you could maybe consider comparing the Neo and the ray on our website to see which one would be your best choice :) -Josh
@SuperBlockstars That depends on the type of phones that you like. The mini pro is more social media oriented because of the keyboard where the Ray is more for pictures, gaming and videos. Some people like to have a qwerty keyboard on the phone and some other people don't have that feature. -Josh

Yes you can play HD videos on this phone. Depending on the video format you will need to use a video player from the Play Store. -Josh
@Virdelet You could say that the main difference between the Ray and Arc is the design, size and price. -Josh
@RivaultGrand I just tried a Ray and I did create a folder but I didn't get any additional option as you mentioned. The only options are either to add apps, remove, rename (the folder) or remove from the homescreen. Maybe the options you saw are other users either using a different Launcher app or a custom rom. -Josh

That really depends on how you use your phone, it could last from hours (if you are a heavy user) to more than day. -Josh
This phone has background light. If your phone doesn't light up maybe you could try to adjust the brightness in the settings to see if that helps. To do this go Menu>Settings>Display>Brightness. -Josh

When will the black version of the Ray be available on your website? Currently I can only choose between gold and pink :(
The price might vary depending on the country that the phone is available. On our website the price is £229.00. -Josh

@ayahgirl1 Sorry to hear that your are having problems with the phone. And it could be either a defective software on the phone or maybe a compatibility problem with your router at home. Does the same happens to you when you connect to a different Wi-Fi network? (other than your home network). -Josh
It won't be updated automatically to android ICS. You need to connect the phone to the PC Companion/Bridge for MAC software to be given the option to update it. -Josh

Yes you can connect your phone to a PC and/or laptop. And it is also possible to use Skype on that phone. Don't worry about it anytime you have a question just go ahead and ask :) -Josh

I was just thinking to myself that the Xperia Neo would be a cool phone to have, but I was kind of turned off by its rounded shape, and then Sony spontaneously announces this sweet little number. It's got the same screen size and capabilities as the Neo, but in a much sleeker, tougher body! How does Sony know exactly what kind of phone I want?
I hope it's announced for a Canadian carrier soon, because I would pick it up in a heartbeat!

Sorry to say but I don't know an specific store that I can tell you to purchase the phone from. However there is a US version of this phone that you could purchase from an online website. I'd suggest instead of looking for a store try an online website that sells cellphones. -Josh
I've been with Sony since K300 and now i have this after experimenting with another phone (really bad experience)... glad to be back on SE with Ray ...

While browsing just tap and hold on the pictures that you want to save and select Save picture. You need to have a memory card on the phone for this to work. -Josh

among many brands around the world, for exmaple clothes you can choose diesel or lacost boath are fantastic, but in electronics sony is the way, you always end falling in love with sony products!!!

@keveydaking Screen size and construction, mainly. The Arc has the biggest screen, the Ray has an aluminum body instead of a plastic body, and the Neo has a hot-swap microSD slot. They all have the same processors, operating system, 8.1MP camera and HD video recording, so the biggest question with the Xperia line is which phone fits your lifestyle, rather than which phone fits your needed features.

As for better gaming experience that would definitely be the Play. -Josh
