Love Robert Smith. First saw him on a screen at Malibu dance club in Long Beach. 1986! Started following him. Saw him in concert at Radio City Music Hall. Played like 3 hrs. Thank God I had his music in my life all these years. Not able to see him now as my health isn’t so good. Thank you for sharing this video!!!
Hi @maryfisher9956 I also saw Robert and the boys at Radio City for the Wild Mood Swings tour in '96. They were phenomenal and I'm also tremendously grateful for all the wonderful music, lyrics and vibe the Cure has given me for almost 40 years! It's immeasurable how much Robert has given to the world. I say he's my spirit animal. I'm beyond thrilled I'll get to see him again for the time in 27 years this weekend. I'm sorry your health won't allow you to see him this time but may his music continue to inspire and comfort you. ☮️❤
Thank you tons for this upload!!! Excellent footage! I was at this concert last night in upper section 302. It was amazing! I recorded most of the concert too but mine is not good quality. What an epic show! So glad I bought the posters they had available. On their website I pre-ordered the Chicago t-shirt and hoodie!
Yes! Yes! Yes! You have got it, you knew how vital it was to capture it live! . Beauty up close, Reeves Gabrels' piercing solo on A Night Like This. This tour and the last, its my fave of theirs live, its truly the perfect rock song, its structure with Robert's hauntingly beautiful vocals are at a plateau of bliss when Reeves takes it higher. A song that truly takes me. Ive followed him through Tin Machine and then his stunning, blistering sonics in the brilliant 96-97 shows with rock's ultimate solo artist/performer, David Bowie. Im thrilled Reeves is a perfect fit in The Cure, as i too share Robert's huge love for Bowie, i believe it has lead to the band playing at their very peak now. Their sound is crystal clear immaculate. Thanks a lot for this, i will return to it over and over.
I was at this concert! The only songs we could think of that they didn't play (that you'd expect to hear) were Fascination Street and Love Cats! I couldn't think of a single other. Their music truly is The Cure for what ails you. ❤ 🎶🎸

I was there. It was one of the most hypnotic and brilliant concerts I have ever seen. Sooo soul satisfying on many levels. It TOUCHED ME. Despite the ticket prices I paid for me and my pal (!!!) we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Im so glad I went. Im also going to see them at Riot Fest in September. I hope to see all the Chicago fans there as well.
Robert Smith is 64 (I'm 59, I look good for almost 60, profile pic was taken at the HOUSTON concert date!) I'm so achy and tired a lot, at my age, plus size like him too..ha ha Y'ALL! ROBERT SMITH is TOURING LIKE CRAZY! How does he do it! without being exhausted...? old gods and new bless this man.hes a world treasure. as an Elder Goth; he's my saint..xoxo

Poor robert, boy trapped in old body
Do you have a video of both the encores? I was hoping there would be a video of the full concert somewhere.
Have you been to a concert or a presentation of new phones?
13:43 she sang at just how I would sing it if I was making fun of somebody😅
What's on Robert's shirt? I can't make it out. What's the Chicago connection?
He looks scarier than Marilyn Manson. 😱🙃
vertical video. great.
Everyone's a critic. It was a live stream on Instagram and also easier to hold the phone without obstructing people.
Elizabeth Taylor is looking good for her age !
