I generally root for Jack-O players but this definitely seems like an uphill battle for Pot, even for someone as legendary as FAB. I like how Caffeine made full use of the entire screen space.
i would imagine this is a funny puzzle of a mu for jackie, having to deal with wwa, slide head and his massive normals any of the jack-o players have insight l? is going for a zoning style the best option i wonder
Slide head is ridiculously weak, if you are half screen away, you can punish potemkin on hit if he tries to close in after a hit, rest of his kit is even weaker. Just roflstomp him.
This matchup sucks for Potemkin lol Caffeine played it really well too. They were constantly jumping to negate slide head, so that wasn’t a great option. Jack-o hitting a minion causes it have to hits (her normal + the minion flying afterwards) so Hammer Fall doesn’t work super well. WWA is good, but it costs meter. And again, Caffeine was jumping a lot to make it whiff if they used it. Even when Pot gets in, it’s not as free as you would like since Jack-o 2K is such an esports button.
@@drfil146What I gathered from watching FAB's streams, is that Jack-O' is an incredibly difficult match-up for Potemkin (he's stated this in his streams) - In my opinion, possibly his worst match-up in the game. Caffeine is a very strong Asia Jack-O' player, but there are like 4 or 5 other Asia Jack-O' players just as strong, if not stronger - and FAB appears to struggle against all of them. Despite Jack-O' being a puppet character like Zato, this fight is similar to the "Zoner vs. Grappler" match-up where most of the round is spent by the Potemkin user trying to close in on the Jack-O' player; but due to the lack of speed on Potemkin's part, in contrast to Jack-O' - who is a fast and agile character - this can make catching the player quite hard. Then in the scenario where the Potemkin player makes a mistake while trying to catch the player, and the Jack-O' user gets their corner offense started... well, let's just say they should probably think about the next round/game...
Silly Goober vs Silly Clown
At least he won't turn his back on life ☝️😔
