Wanted the Ulanzi myself but what's keeping me back from it is height. Most tripods don't go past 160. Being taller, I need a taller tripod.

You choose your tripod by what you want to photograph imo

Great review! I recently purchased one to use with my watercolor pochade setup. It says on their product specs that a phone holder adapter is hidden away within one of the legs but other than the hidden head screw inside the bottom hook, I can't seem to find it. Does your tripod have it? Thanks.

Thank you! I don't think it does... then again I've never properly checked. I do recall seeing the hidden tool though.

You can buy the Coman Zero Y, without the Ulanzi. It is exactly the same tripod and cost almost half of the Ulanzi.

On Amazon is not half, but still less. What are the differences between them?

I own this tripod. As I am typing this I have three plasters on my fingers. Just got back from a photo shoot in the dark and the lock lugs have pinched my fingers opening and closing. This is not the first time and I am wary of the danger but in the dark in not ideal conditions I got caught again. Not sure of a fix. Maybe gloves in the winter in the dark. Definitely carry plasters. Apart from that I'm happy with it. You have to shed blood for art...
