Here is some info on the Blue Angels:
The Blue Angels is the United States Navy's flight demonstration squadron. The Blue Angels team was formed in 1946 making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team (under the same name) in the world, after the French Patrouille de France formed in 1931. The Blue Angels' six demonstration pilots fly the F/A-18 Hornet, typically in more than 70 shows at 34 locations throughout the United States each year, where they still employ many of the same practices and techniques used in their aerial displays in 1946. An estimated 11 million spectators view the squadron during air shows each full year. The Blue Angels also visit more than 50,000 people in a standard show season (March through November) in schools and hospitals. Since 1946, the Blue Angels have flown for more than 260 million spectators.
The "Blues" have flown nine different demonstration aircraft and five support aircraft models:
Demonstration aircraft
Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat: June--August 1946
Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat: August 1946 -- 1949
Grumman F9F-2 Panther: 1949 -- June 1950 (first jet); F9F-5 Panther: 1951 - Winter 1954/55
Grumman F9F-8 Cougar: Winter 1954/55 - mid-season 1957 (swept-wing)
Grumman F11F-1 (F-11) Tiger: mid-season 1957 -- 1969 (first supersonic jet)
McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II: 1969 -- December 1974
Douglas A-4F Skyhawk: December 1974 -- November 1986
McDonnell Douglas F/A-18A/B Hornet (F/A-18B was #7 aircraft): November 1986 -- 1992
McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C/D Hornet (F/A-18D is #7 aircraft): 1992-present
Support aircraft
Douglas R4D Skytrain: 1949--1955
Curtiss R5C Commando: 1953
Douglas R5D Skymaster: 1956--1968
Lockheed C-121 Super Constellation: 1969--1973
Lockheed C-130 Hercules "Fat Albert": 1970--present
Miscellaneous aircraft
North American SNJ Texan (used to simulate a Japanese A6M Zero aircraft in demonstrations during the late 1940s)
Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star (Used during the 1950s as a VIP transport aircraft for the team)
Vought F7U Cutlass (two of the unusual F7Us were received in late 1952 and flown as a side demonstration during the 1953 season but they were not a part of their regular formations which at the time used the F9F Panther. Pilots and ground crew found it unsatisfactory and plans to use it as the team's primary aircraft were cancelled). - Авто та транспорт
No matter how many times I see the Blue Angels fly, I am always amazed at the proficiency of professionalism they, and most Navy pilots in general, have.
THE BEST PERIOD!
GREAT video !!!...I love hearing the aircraft and NOT blairing music or people running there mouths !!! Thank You !!!
gotta love it! GO BLUES!
Love the Blue Angels!
The launch sounded way better than ACDC music. Thank you.
I just love the show, thank you blue Angel's rise on nigh, that's right!
This is my favorite flight team ever I love the video
im going to go see them in June at the Dayton Ohio airshow i love watching all the planes but these are the best of the best
If possible this show just got me even more excited about going to go see them in September thank you for putting the extra information in the description because I did not know all that stuff about the side aircraft in the transports now I will have some new info for aircraft week this year
Marks the day I left my cheating ex. Most special air show for me, watched it right over me as I drove to my new home.
What a farewell salute!
Relaxing sounds, and intriguing coordination.
This was great thank you for uploading it!
Thanks for watching!
Quote: *NO music OR talking*!
Amen for that!
No copyright issues....Amen for THAT! =D
This video is fantastic!
That's pretty darn amazing. You can't get into a tighter formation than those 4!!! And the footage of the solo flying just grabs ya by the booboo!!! LoL...Very nice! I have an old middle school buddy who now flies with the Blue Angels. I found out about 3-4yrs ago while watching the news. Local guy flies with the Angels. Then it showed the interview and I said" that sure looks like my old friend". But when they said Brent from Knoxville I was blown away and very happy for him. Hadn't seen him in over 15yrs then bam! On the news flying a jet. He was always drawing planes on his notebooks etc. We use to ride bikes and skateboard and he always did some wild jumps and things. I guess his daring style personality payed off. Small world we live in! Glad I got to see this. Thanks,N8knox
I hope to be able to make half the video this is at the 2014 Abbotsford Airshow with my new camera :D
I think just going would be amazing. That's when you get to hear those jets CRACK over head as fly by. You can actually feel the boosters in your chest. Can't reproduce that on film but know that you get to go! But yeah nice video be cool too...lol
Did anyone else spot the Iraqi Air Force fly pass at the 1:50 mark? :P
Great Video as always!
=D
I was born and raised in the home town of the blue's I see them practice over Pensacola all the time
THANK YOU SIR. ALMOST LIKE BEING THERE!
You welcome!
Excellent Video I Like no Music And No Talking In Some Airshow Video's.
I make it for you!
Thank you
Awesome video, thanks for sharing
No problem!

banshee01ful Your very welcome! Thanks for watching.
Da Blues...Da Best...:)
A dirty Loop? That's hard, Thanks.
Sounds like freedom
GREAT JOB! I realize that the footage I was considering uploading is crap! ;)
Go to my channel at look at my FIRST videos....now that is crap! But you have to start some where....don't give up and upload what you have regardless of what it is. I have learned alot from people giving me tips and so on....but you cant get it if you don't upload it =D
Thanks for this. One thing I've always disliked about airshows is the lame music and chatty announcers. I've never seen a performance like this without those annoyances!
goosebumps thats all I have to say
Damned great :)
Thank you!
when #5 takes off it looks like the tail comes very close to the ground, is this normal?
Was this a Friday practice, that's why no music or talking? And spectators getting in the way.
Being that I plan to go to sun n fun for first time and don't know its layout in 2015, where would be best spot for photography at the show.
Gregory Johnson Can you please msg me on Facebook? I will give you all the places to go. Please do it REALLY SOON!
these guys have balls of steel
You do not want balls of steel when pulling 9gs.
+falconeaterf15 At most the Hornet can only pull 7.5 Gs but still either way...
Nice footage! What type of camera do you use Xrm150?
Thank you...I am glad you liked it. I am using a Panasonic HC-V750. This was the first airshow I got to use it. =) I am still getting use to it so I hope I get better at using it but I am very happy with the color and built in stabilizer. I just found out today that the zoom can go up to 1500x!! I know its digital zoom but...damn!
Wow! Nice. I was stuck with an iPad and GoPro. Not being in school has its disadvantages not having access to a high end camera. I might have to look into one of those now and a nice tripod too!
I do not recommend a tripod. Almost impossible to film a jet flying directly over you....unless you pickup the tripod and swing it around.
Xrm150 I was thinking more of a video camera tripod that pretty much swivels around 360 degrees with the flick of a finger. Used them a lot for quick scenes in video production classes, just never jets flying over. lol
i was there and i thouht there was 5 cause back in 2012 blue angles #6 crashed
What camera do you shoot with?
XnavrasX panasonic hc-v720
Maybe someday they'll be Snowbirds! Keep practicing guys.
falconeaterf15 Maybe someday the Snowbirds will go as fast. Im just bustin balls....I really enjoyed the Snowbirds...I honestly think the do the hardest tricks out of ANY jet team in the world!
Ya they"re strictly stick and rudder, no fly by wire for those guys! Of course I love the Blues too.....just gotta root for the home team sometimes.
What seating were you in?
+Adriana Rogers I go out to the vor. That way I don't hear pa speakers
5 dislikes. who would do that???
