Since Jesus birthday is celebrated on a date that is a pagan holiday. ALL the traditions so many follow so closely are pagan ritual. We know this now, The crucifixion is based on the time the Roman Catholic church, then the Lutheran, then the Wesleyan church all followed suit. So all these so called church year calendar holidays are wrong. Remembering why Jesus had to be crucified is something we need to do all year long. We do not need trees, lights, candles, bunnies, hard boiled eggs to be close to God. In fact abandoning these pagan rituals leave us open to worship our Savior with hearts full of gratitude, love, peace, joy and the sure and certain faith we will be with Him in the next life. I thank God everyday for Khouse and Chuck Missler. They made me a better believer.
When people insist, you have to be baptized to be saved, one argument I use is the thief on the cross. Are you calling Jesus a liar? Because when the thief on the cross confessed he was a sinner and that Jesus was of God and asked for his mercy to remember him when he comes into his kingdom. Jesus said "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43 Another argument is we have to do absolutely no physical acts for salvation by grace. Insisting on baptism is saying grace is not enough. You must do works as well. I believe the thief will have many crowns. His story tells so simply and completely what grace and salvation truly is. Praise God! Thanks for the insightful upload. I used to be bound by legalism. Then I got Grace revelation and was using it as a license. Now that I understand more fully I am super happy to discover how I can walk out my faith. These videos are a true blessing.
I would rather be a servant in Heaven with Jesus than to reign in hell. I have always reached out to others about to tell others about Jesus. The best and happiest "fruit" was teaching first Sunday school kids about God and now that I am old I speak bluntly about saving Grace. I no longer worry about how others feel. I tell them that the ONLY way to be saved is to admit being sinful and in need of forgiveness.Then asking for it by repenting of our sinful way of life and ask Jesus to lead them and for forgiveness. Knowing that just one soul was saved in my life time, in some way because of what I said or did and the prayer. We can only tell others of Jesus, the Holy Spirit works the miracle of coming to Grace. Knowing we are saved makes us WANT to tell others. If I have to clean the latrines in Heaven I would be happy. No more pain, no more disability. Being ABLE to serve others will be a great job. I believe that Chuck will have many crowns.
