Hello everyone! Don't forget to check out the PDF in the description and turn on ENG subtitles if you need to! 💜 I started working on this video a few weeks ago and I was finally able to release it for you guys! I'm so excited! This video will introduce commonly used phrases and expressions that I find myself using a lot at a convenience store! 🏪 I'm hoping you can learn and practice those phrases with this short and cute story! 💞
I'm so sorry I didn't see your message until now!! 😥 The way I designed the PDFs in Canva doesn't let me fix them, but I was able to upload them to my Ko-fi page as downloadable PDFs (free)! All of the podcast from episode 6 onwards and future Korean Storytime videos will be fixed and downloadable from Canva! Sorry again about that and thank you for letting me know! ❤️ ko-fi.com/storytimeinkorean
Hi, I really enjoyed the spreadsheet you shared in the Morning Routine video. Is there one available for this video as well? Thanks for making this content!
I’m sorry, but I stopped doing the spreadsheets somewhat early on because they were quite time consuming to create. 😢 Websites like LingQ would be great for building a vocab deck out of words in my video! Sorry again!!
Hahaha thank you so much!! 😆❤️ I’m glad I was able to introduce a new friend, Mike, to Hawbuni through this story too!! Please stay tuned for more new friends with different stories in the future ☺️❤️ 저도 마이크를 소개할 수 있어서 기뻤어요!! ㅎㅎㅎ 정말 감사합니다 🥰❤️
Thank you so much!! 😍❤️💜 and yeahhh!!! That would be so fun to make! 🤩 I definitely want to do that one day!! thank you for the suggestion and support! 💜🥰
That’s incredible progress, congratulations!! 🥳 Being able to understand 70-80% is the perfect spot for comprehensible input. You can listen and read and learn while having fun! It means a lot that you were able to get involved in the story 🥹 Hopefully you were able to forget that you were even learning in the first place!! 😆 Thank you again for watching! ♥️💜
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!! Thank you so much for watching 🥹 it’s awesome that the video can fit well into your study routine, I’m hoping the future videos can too 💜 정말 감사해요 😊
Awwww thank you so much!!!! You’re always so nice 🥹 It’s a lot of fun recording their voices I’m happy you pointed out the voice acting 😆 I’m glad to hear that it’s useful for you to learn with, thank you again!! ♥️😊
That's incredible!! Keep it up 😊 Understanding and comprehending 80% is a big accomplishment and being able to repetitively listen to and read content you understand well is when you truly begin to learn. 화이팅!!
I really appreciate you saying that, thank you so much!!! 🥹💜 I’m glad you were able to find the videos comprehensible and fun, that’s exactly what I was hoping for! ☺️ Thank you again for the support!!! 비디오를 좋아해 주셔서 감사해요! ♥️
Thank you so much for this kind of content! I recently challenged myself to do a little "self-talk" in Korean while doing some cleaning around the house (basically just narrating to myself what I was doing lol) and I felt more confident speaking. Watching videos like this really helps me think about my daily routine in Korean, and I am so grateful!!
Oohhh! That’s a great idea to speak to yourself while you’re doing your daily things! 🤩👏🏻 If you haven’t watched my ‘morning routine’ video with Hwabuni, please check it out! I’m sure you’ll find a lot of phrases to use daily from that video as well 😊 thank you so much for watching this video, I’m glad it could be helpful! 🥰❤️ 이 비디오를 봐주셔서 감사합니다! ☺️❤️ 다른 모닝 루틴 비디오도 확인해주세요! ㅎㅎ 🥰
I just watched first video on your channel and thank you so much for making this it’s really helpful! I hope you will continue to create this content :)
Woww I somehow managed to understand 40-60 % of this ! I've been learning korean actively for about 2 months so Im pretty happy ! 행복해요 ! Also these stories are great tysm ! They help me learn practical dialogue and so many things so well ! And they're also pretty entertaining.
Wow!!! Being able to understand that much in just 2 months is incredible! Keep it up and read/listen along with the video and you'll show a massive improvement in 2 more months! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
I never really learned Korean properly, only through watching dramas and listening to their songs also by learning Hangul. But I manage to understand everything very well, I'm so proud of myself ☺
i'm trying to learn korean. i've been trying for a few years now. but i always take breaks that are way too long so i always gotta repeat what i once learned. therefore i haven't gotten so far yet. but my goal is to finish the language books i have at home in 2024. i watched without subtitles and honestly, i don't understand half of it yet. certain words, yes, but a lot that i don't know yet. the goal is to come back and say i understand everything. i mean, i could write all the vocabulary down from this, learn them, come back, then i might understand everything, but that's not how i wanna do it. i'm gonna learn vocabulary and grammar through other videos, language books, duolingo, and then come back to say i understand. let's see when that will be :)
Learning a language is one of the hardest things from my experience, so I absolutely feel you! But it's great that you set an achievable goal, finishing the books you have and coming back to this same video to check your progress! I think that's amazing. I can't wait to hear back from you later, regardless of how much time it takes, that you can understand and enjoy this video more easily! 😊❤️ 화이팅! 응원할게요! 💪
Even though I didnt know alot of the words I understood what was happening the whole time and what they were saying due to context clues so I'm really happy 😭!!
That’s incredible! Keep listening and reading along and you’ll be able to follow along with the video even better 😊 Being able to follow along while understanding the context of the video is the most important thing, lots of repetition will be a massive help, thank you again 💜
Korean is a difficult language to learn, but it’s awesome that you’re making the effort to do it!! Thank you so much for watching the videos and supporting the channel!! 💜😊
That’s incredible!! 😊 Keep it up and you’ll be able to understand more and more words while having fun and enjoying the learning process 🥰 I’ll make sure to use similar words in future videos so you can continue to enjoy the videos 💕
Ohh!! Haha no worries! And it depends, but I’m sure you can use most of the phrases in my podcasts in formal occasions! As long as you end the sentences with -요 or -습니다 to be formal!
Thank you so much for saying that 🥹 I’m happy you enjoyed the drawings and found it useful for studying! 😊 Look out for more videos like this in the future ♥️
Nice! Some beginner comprehensible input style stories. I watch another Korean dude play videogames as he talks basic stuff through as it's occurring on screen. Gestures, body language, inflection, all help create context and fill in gaps in your vocab.
@@storytimeinkorean Lol, "video (object marker "reul") like/good something + thankyou something". I think you just made a simpler form of johahaeyo and a simpler form of gamsahamnida. Basically, "video like thank you", but more likely, "Thank you for liking the video", as you initially said in English. Not sure, could even be "Thankful (I am) you found the video good"... Hangugmal jal mothaeyo, lol.
You were right, it's thank you for liking the video. Nice job!! 😊 The grammar of adding 아/어/여 주셔서 is a grammar to learn and it allows you to thank someone for doing something. A similar sentence would be 비디오를 봐주셔서 감사해요. Which would be, thank you for watching the video.
That’s incredible!!!! Being able to understand that much is the where you get to take advantage of comprehensible input and repetitive listening! Keep listening and practice dictating or shadowing if you want a challenge and your speaking will get much better alongside it! Thank you for watching! 💜

it's a little hard to use the pdfs because if i download them they get split into pages and don't display properly 😅
