I read Once Upon A Broken Heart without reading Caraval first and I wasn’t confused and had a great time with the series! I’m also hoping to read Two Twisted Crowns soon, I just read One Dark Window and loved it!! Ahh Addie LaRue is one of my all-time favorites and it’s perfect for fall! And Belladonna was a fun one too, definitely gothic 😊

I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN I SAW ADDIE LARUE it's my favorite book😭💞💞the writing is absolutely beautiful, i hope you enjoy it!! i also love once upon a broken heart and you dont need to read caraval to undertand the story! caraval is kinda meh anyway so you're not missing out on anything happy reading bestie📖🤍

I read the Once Upon A Broken Heart trilogy first and then the Caraval trilogy last month, and it really doesn’t matter which you read first. But I ate both of them up. I hope you like it and go into Caraval if you can! I also read the One Dark Window duology back in April and loved them as well. The Belladonna trilogy is also on my TBR this November!
I’ve had the invisible life of addie larue on my wish list to read for quite some time now. I need to bite the bullet and purchase it so I can add it to my tbr! I hope you do a reading update on that one and let us know what you think of it.
Such a good tbr!! The Five People You Meet In Heaven sounds so interesting! And Addie Larue was such a good one! ...it ripped my heart out a little bit 😅 lol but it has a really interesting concept and Henry is one of my most favorite book characters ☺✨
I read Once Upon without reading Caraval. It was fine. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything because I had no clue about what happened in Caraval. I was surprised to hear people saying you should read that first. I don’t think so :) LOL
I was so excited to read OUABH that I started it without reading Caraval and that was a mistake but maybe it'll work for you. I actually gave Caraval five stars after I softly dnf'd OUABH. The world building will be confusing if you read OUABH before reading Caraval because the plot of Caraval was so mind twisting. I haven't read the second and third book and I think the bad reviews are about the second and third book.
