- The Scottish Cinema Organ Trust are delighted to be presenting an online organ concert series in lieu of our in-person events programme. This third concert is performed by David Lobban who was resident organist at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for 23 years.

I miss, very much, the Friday evenings at the old Organ Grinder in Toronto, listening to David play. David - you still have that wonderful style in your hands!!!

I have always loved the way how David plays the theatre organ especially when he was in the Tower Ballroom.
Alas due to an unusually busy Sunday for me, I couldn't catch the live stream. But now the day is done, and I shall kick these weary heels up, glass of Amaretto in hand, headphones on, and listening to the shimmering splendour of the wonderful WurliTzer at Pollokshaws, with the equally splendiferous Mr. Lobban working his magic at the console. Thanks to The SCOT for presenting another superb online concert for us all to enjoy.
