Everyone’s hating on this haunt but I love it! Very old fashioned, even if it isn’t actually very old. And of course it’s not the scariest house ever, but it’s marketed more towards families than the other attractions. Keep up the great videos SoCal!
EGJacob13 You are correct. Glad to see another open-minded haunt-lover out there! Haha. Even though I must admit, I too can be very critical! 😆 But I always find things I enjoy in every haunt!
Evie Hammond It is certainly not that expensive, and actually I have been to this specific haunt many times! Every year around Christmas time I go to Niagara Falls. And I have a video of it that I filmed on my channel.
@@hauntsandamusements Sorry that sounded sarcastic, (I was joking) I live minutes from here & have gone to it several times over many, many years. Compared to other places I felt it's way over priced & cheesy but that's just my opinion. There used to be a place called Nightmares within Maple Leaf Villages (maybe 10 minutes from there & quite a few years ago) it was much cheaper & much scarier. I'm a huge fan of haunts & Halloween so I guess I thought what I was looking for in an attraction like this is what most people were too. My apologies if I offended you, it was not my intention.
Like the House of Frankenstein, this Haunt is a pale reminder of what it used to be. HoF used to be three entire floors with a roller coaster on the roof and the best gift shop( now a burger king ) ever . Anyone remember the Karloff wax museum ?
The side of this fortune machine says Charlie's emporium on it so this guy must be named Charlie not only they used Zelda music but also they were very clever about thinking that sign on they're own I believe 0:59
The ones on clifton hill are for kids but nightmares fear factory not far from there is on another level, most people chicken out and don't even finish.
@@MaliciousSRT the haunted houses on Clifton Hill until 94-95 were wax museums that were scarer than what I see here and at House of Frankenstein another all animatronic haunted house.
Lame. It's hard to get scared when all of the sets are in jail cells, screened in and/or behind bars. Plus everything looked like it was bought at Walmart and/or Spencer's.
I actually work on the hill, I would say Nightmares just up the hill by the upside down house is the best. It's mosly pitch black with the erie vibe to it with unexpected jump scares
This attraction makes me want to get a passport to visit Canada. This is what a walkthrough haunted house should be and this is the clearest video I’ve seen of this place yet. Oddly enough you can’t make out the skeleton in the grandfather clock. That’s one heck of a clever trick!
00:50 I'm pretty sure that's the song from the Curiosity Shop/Marine Research Lab in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. You can hear it begin around 00:26-00:56
This ride just politely screams, "Hey there, buddy. I'm a haunted house, so I gotta give you a little spook. But I'll give you a big heads up so you know it's coming, alright? Oh, and no claustrophobia, we don't do that here. But have some stairs, they're good for your health." It's so Canadian I can't even
I might have been to this attraction. I went there one summer (2013-2015) and I remember one section of hallway being really dark in this attraction. I kept bumping into walls because either some areas weren't properly lit or did not have a glow in the dark think to indicate a direction. It looks a little better than it was when I was there.
@@aceorb1996 kinda weird how they used the potion shop from the Zelda on Nintendo 64 for the fortune machine they could have placed they're own music in there well o.k it was just 1 scare thing they did that from Zelda
What was the name of the haunted house in this area that had people actually reaching out to grab you? I went there years ago, and it definitely wasn't this one. This isn't scary. Haha.
LEGEND OF ZELDA MUSIC AT 0:50 … OCARINA OF TIME WHEN YOUR INSIDE THAT SMALL BUILDING IN HYDIA LAKE... WEIRD LITTLE MAN LIKE A SCIENTIST OR SOMETHING...
I’m concerned about the nail bed. I’m REALLY hoping those are plastic considering that is one of the only props they didn’t have protected. The possibility for injury with that is just too much.
Ok the bat staircase in there the dude misses the car alarm goin off and a air hose theres an thunder crack as well how did he miss those things hu 1 car alarm 2 air hose 3 thunder crack noise
That actually had quite a few jump scares. You knew where to stop it seemed, but if you didn’t you would definitely be startled in many places. Also it’s unsettling to just be walking down dark AF hallways with men screaming
There's a lot of money invested in these haunts. Those displays are not cheap. They are just not timed as well as they could be. There's a bit of time and money into all the painting and assembling. They rely too much on the electronics to do their job. Still, not a bad family haunt for younger audiences, but just not sophisticated enough for today's haunted house goers.
I bet this place will make over $$$$ around October and Halloween ! Even they will need a organization volunteers to help with parking and crowd control .
Wow this place is better than it was three years ago (as previously mentioned on House of Frankenstein's video). Really cleaned it up a bit but some of it is kinda lame. The fan around that first corner though used to be a louder deeper tone with a ton of vibration which as a kid scared the crap out of me. I brought my, at the time 7 or 8 years old nephew through with me a few years ago and he went through with no problems. just mainly scared cause it was dark but nothing really scared him other than visibility lol
Oh, Canada. You just arent scary, eh? More like a museum, than a haunted house. Wondering if it's the one my sister and I went thru when we were kids. If so, it's def been revamped.
Too many animatronics, it would have been more fun if they would have used live actors. Though animatronics in the long run would have saved more money.
If you think this is bad, you should check out the haunted house rides we have in the UK! They make this look like the most terrifying thing in the world! 😂
The scariest thing in that house is all the exercise you get from going up those stairs.. lol
Really not for me
@@amandaosjy8314 awesome
this haunted house used to be bigger but it caught on fire so they had to renovate the whole thing which is why every thing is smaller and emptier.

It's not bad. Just a walk through. It IS, however, VERY clean looking. Which is nice.
But it's creepy how empty it is.
It adds to the atmosphere
That is Zelda music. They'll learn the true meaning of scary if Nintendo's lawyers get on to them.
Ikr that should be copyright

I was actually disappointed by the absence of scare actors, but I did have fun hiding around a corner and scaring people who came by!
Was there a sale at spirit Halloween and all the animatronics were half off?

I was there the winter of 1989. I dont remember well, but I think many stuff are changed. Any way, I cant end the tour! Run away
Please tell me that wasn’t more than five dollars
Unfortunately, It's $10. Located in a popular tourist trap destination hence why it's pricey.

the best haunted houses on Clifton Hill are Screamers and Nightmares.. but they are completely dark so filming them would be pointless.

Reminds me of the Medevil Dungeon in San Francisco on Fisherman's Wharf. It's not there anymore, but I went there 4 times.
The best one in niagra is nightmares fear factory but the most difficult level its the most decent scary attraction there.
