It would be pretty cool if the devs added some kind of Sea/fishing related origin that would reward the player on killing sea creatures.
Just like in real life, the fishman could “catch” a lionfish for example and turn in the carcass for exp/chest rewards.
There could be reduced event or bounty exp as a con and there could be specific talents/items and outfits that the fishman can use.
Like an item that guarantees chest/item fishing for that throw, or items to specifically fish monsters
I'm just waiting for a big sea monster that is something like the giant squid or the kraken

It would be really cool to see a diving mechanic, so you could go beneath the surface of the water, think about how sick it would be to dive underwater and see a massive ass sea creature below you like something out of subnautica
Then you could literally be a diver for real this time.
Going too far down could result in diving through a voidzone, and even deeper would drop you into the Depths since it's a physical location. I think that'd be insane potential for the sea.

You need to try this again, as with the new sea events progressing will be quite a bit more exciting than just fishing. Silentheart obtainment is also on a boat, though I'm not sure if you could properly progress it.

It would be cool if there was a seafarer origin that gives you a unique boat or something.
