I wonder if Artie listened back to this if he would recognize the voice change. It’s painkillers and being up all night that have him sounding like this.
@@tocalifestories9592 Yeah the original post and the 7 likes obviously never sniffed anything before. he sounds stuffed up, just like you do after youve been sniffing a lot of stuff up your nose, like the H in the good old days. I had same problem for very long time, cant imagine what its like today with all the fenynal in everything. Its like theres no more H anymore. Strange world.
And they act surprised when Norm blamed them. I get they loved and tried to help him but when it’s an on air onslaught about it you know it’s gonna bring him back
Artie is so high. Read his book about this period in his life. Snorting H makes you a whiny prick. Clogs the nose, and you get the Percocet voice. Super relaxed maaaaaannnn…
10× funnier then his stupid heroin stories 1000× better than his ridiculous fake laugh He was amazing for so long and then drug completely took over and he was as funny as shulie
In Artie's defense, I've been a frontman in a punk band for the past decade, we play out regularly. I dried out a little over 2 years ago and took half a year off to get my headspace correct. The only thing that didn't change for the better is being a frontman. That whole facing the crowd thing is an entirely different beast without the liquid courage.
Howard was totally up for exploiting Artie's addiction, "Breaking Bonaduce" style. What a ghoul. Listen to him play dumb knowing that cameras would encourage Artie to drink, not deter him
Nothing more cringe than someone declaring themselves as funny which he did a lot when arguing with Sal and Richard, Gary...... He claimed he was as humble towards the end of when he joined but there was a huge difference, Richard Louis called him out too saying he was an ego maniac and he def was towards the last few years.... Getting 80gs for a stand up show started going to his head but forgot he wouldn't of got that money without being on the stern show....
To me its obvious hes on dope in this clip, and this is probably before it occured to them he was that hardcore. Hes fighting to stay awake which is that new cadence Howard was talking about. I think if he was sober he would have never made that comment about wanting to make enough money so he could retire as soon as possible. Howard's biggest fear or pet peeve is that he can't have total control over everyone surrounding him. He thought Artie was going to drag the show down with his addiction and he said either let him do that or he would turn it into radio gold and obviously his show comes first over anything even the health of his coworkers. But I bet when Howard heard him say that he had met a new girl and wanted to just get off the road and and not work that's when Howard probably turned on him and decided he was somehow going to just use him as fodder from now on. Because how dare Artie or anyone make decisions about their own life and career and its impact on the show. This was all before Howard became the exalted demigod he has since become and the show always relied on him relating to every man but it's hard to do that when every caller is just slurping your ass and you cannot do any wrong no matter how much you personally abuse your minions.
They’re all so annoying. Being in that situation definitely did not help Artie.

@jagged6373 I'm pretty sure it was from blowing H all night actually.

He was such a train wreck he should have been fired in ‘04. Too much drama, not funny enough.

"I make a wicked baked apple on the grill" So a grilled apple... Also, how gay.
How could Howard say he had no clue Artie was on drugs? That’s such a cop out. He’s literally slurring his speech on the radio.
That was always his style because he is a pussy
of coarse he knew. he monitized it like the evil selfish big nose he is.....
Artie is responsible for Artie. He created everything of what he became. Without Howard and Norm, it would have been Artie who?????
Artie didn’t want any help, he couldn’t wait to get out of that studio and on to a stage so he could get wasted, that’s what he loved to do.
You can really tell by his voice that he’s high on heroine

Artie coming down from the H is one nasty person. That voice sounded demonic

“Stone cold sober” he says 😂
He was definitely crickety. His voice changed & he was nasally for a while during this time.
HEY NOW 😅

The ultimate whahhhh!! all of these overpaid millionaires complaining about life and actually think what they're doing is work sickening.
Artie was a fool

@@sternfan2491 Dude move on, Artie understood the show and made his choices.
Yeah, you can't blame self control issues on others or situations that's called being a pussy and not manning up to your mistakes.
If artie didn't join the show he would of died years ago. I think in some way that show kept him in better check
Whaaa, I'm a pussy bitching about a 25 year old radio show 😢
what is Artie some helpless baby animal? hes a grown fucking baby gorilla man
When Artie acts like he's so much better than Bob and Sal and Richard I'm glad he's a nobody again
@maxiscoozuba4338 Artie turned into a hack. He's never really been that funny, but now he's just bad.

He ALWAYS sucked. His stand up was awful , his performances on the show were mediocre at best.
Amazing he’s still alive and Richard Simmons is dead
20yr age difference

That Levy call was so beyond lame.
Artie loser stories are tiring to listen to

Gary said Two & a Half Men would be completely wildly unpopular- no wonder Howard never trusts him
2 and a half men and the iPad…2 huge stumbles in history according to ba ba booey
Lol and Howard used to shit on Imus. Howard is Imus now. Hot young dumb wife who he promotes. Works from home. Out of touch.
I can’t even listen to the first segment he was so high. It’s not funny, it’s not fun.
