- I recently learned of an alleged "secret moose" in Te Awaroa National Reserve that can only be found by completing the majority of the story missions. Watch this video on how I managed to track it down!

fun fact it is unknown if there are moose in new zealand as they were released in fiordland and fiordland is so vast and undiscovered that it is hard to know if the moose bred or died out
They recently discovered signs of moose again in that area, antlers and fur, they have bred, in the early years, and spotted some in the 70s,

Bro I got to be honest this did not make me mad it made me cry thinking how beautiful that moose was and I know it’s just a game but it’s so beautiful I need to do this now
In my opinion it should have atleast been a 5 Medium Diamond or a Super Rare like you see in the Medved Albino Bear mission :)

My favorite animal to Hunt, in hunter call the wild is probably Canadian geese because they give you good money and they’re really easy to find

I remember doing the first mission for the Mocha Moose but for some reason I haven't finished that map's story missions. Which is odd because I usually finish the story missions trying to raise money.

I believe so. The moose might graze but the relative area should be the same. I don’t know if it will be warning calling anymore but you should be able to still find it.

I did this mission like a year ago, I can't remember. After I took the picture it ran off and I was never able to find it. I believe it was bugged because it didn't keep calling like your moose did. I was so bummed and I wonder if I go back will it be in the area.

I also did this. But I was new. So when I followed the moose I just ran and scared him off untill I gave up. Is it still possible to get him?

For me it glitched and I have 2 in my lodge I got to do the mission twice got all the cash for it too
Players forget that the game has a story. It was sad when i learned about this story because my tribe relies on the sustenance of moose. I told my grandparents this and they were questioning why would they do such a thing?

Ok wait...i ran through the mission, didn't get a shot on it and after the picture like you it ran off, i never heard from it again and figured it ran off and died somewhere. So you are stating it's still on the map and can be hunted???? Well god almighty, I just recently got back into this map for Fallow Deer grinding and now I'll keep my ears peeled for that moose.

Absolutely! If you love or even just like hunting, it has an incredible amount of content and animals to hunt. Plus, majority of the new map DLCs go on sale for like a dollar every few months, so you don’t have to spend much money to buy more maps

It’s still somewhere on your map! It may be tough to find, but I think you can find it in the nearby area!

It ran away never to be seen again, I would try shoot it and it would never drop it. Tried many different ways
im not from new zealand but you cannot be calling it "tee awora" 😭😭jokes aside very good video, this game's youtubers are very bland and solely gameplay focused and we need more storytelling videos, you gonna be a pioneer in the cotw community if you keep this up

“teh-ahh-wah-roh-a”
the R is rolled a bit, if you’re interested you can always watch a video about māori vowel pronunciation :)
This video showed up on my home page before I tried Te Awaroa, and the thumbnail alone spoiled the mission for me. I dislike you deeply for that. What's the point of the bloody video in the first place, you could have at least been thoughtful enough to have chosen a more discreet title and thumbnail.
I’m sorry to hear that. I thought about censoring the animal in the thumbnail but I thought the moose would attract more attention, since it’s one of the coolest animals IMO and I didn’t want to lead people into thinking it was just a basic animal.
