I am using a rented farm where there's a lot of other farmers. The workers there hardly take advice from farmers which is the reason am hoping to get my own separate space (farm). I love everything about value farm and I appreciate this video.
The disadvantage of cemented floor is that, piglets becomes more susceptible to piglet anemia due to excessive cold from the floor which causes poor growth and dead among piglets and grower pigs. So IMO is by far much better. This is an addition to what Mr. Charles explain. Thanks
What is IMO?
Having been involved in US pig production for over 40 years, I can't tell you how fascinated I was at viewing your video - so much common sense and adaptation in development and introduction of husbandry practices universal, no matter what country your in. Some day I would like to visit with Mr. Charles and Christina on site.
i just love both the presenter the way she asks qns for every to undestand & the way the manager responds u have made me love this kind of farming

I love this lesson. I learn so much from this interview.
I love pig farming and so I have some questions.
Lime for the deep natural bed. Is there a different name for this?
Is this 'lime' the same kind of product called 'white lime' that farmers use to paint the root of plants?
Hello, I just watched your video, it's really interesting. But I have a question, the pigs we have a really kinda strong and eat everything around them. The structure you have, seem like what can easily be destroyed especially the wood and the nipple line. How do you prevent against that?
Hi Mr Charles and Tina great valuable information as usual , i notice that u dont mix the feed with water as we doing in South Africa, very interesting thank u again .
Thanks to Mr Charles and Tina for a great work done, please Mr Charles said we should use orange,, pineapple and mango for lMO, if mango is not in season what else can we use.
Hi my friend Iam trying to setup a pig farm what about. Vampire bats and the animals also they have some mosquito that lay warm in animals body how to prevent that we are living in a tropical country of Guyana south America

Hello 👋, thank you for this wonderful content. I would like to ask after praying the IMO on top of the hay layer, we then put on the saw dust right. So do we then spray the IMO on top of the saw dust? The last part after the hay layer isn't so clear. Thank you
Wow wow. Its for the first time , I see this channel, so educational. I just subscribed.

Ure very lucky cc to have Mr Charles his a blessing much respect so much knowledge 🙏 👏
Thank you so much.
The pigs have changed, their health seems different. The feeding, management and so on need to be seriously studied. They hv not improved as compared to previous video
@@ramopigs-kanzenze2489 The pigs have greatly improved compared to the previous video you watched. They just needed enough space. The previous house had become much smaller that's why we had to transfer them to a much bigger one.
Very infromative video. Learnt so much about pigs. Always had reservations when it came to them.
Our pleasure Daniel 😊

Do you have another video on how they keep the lactating sows? Do the keep them in forrowing crates? Or forrowing pens?
hello, exactly what is IMO, what is it that you spray to the wood shavings
@B and T Life Lane Good morning. Happy Sunday. Please I would like to find out how many times in a day do I need to wash the pigs because I have been doing it twice. Is it okay to wash them twice? God bless you
You can only wash the pigs when you're going to change the IMO. The saw dust actually keeps them clean all the time. Therefore you can wash them even once a month. Unless the pigs are sick, you need to wash and change IMO frequently.
Hi
Viewing from Samoa in the South Pacific
How long did you keep Sawdust in sty before changing pls?
correct me if I’m wrong wouldn’t the salt added be detrimental to plants if you wanted to use this bedding as compost in the future for growing vegetables etc
So so amazing, I have learnt a lot from this video. God bless you.
Our pleasure 😊 🙏
When ever I see your piggery, You inspire me too much dia

This is a Clean and Spacious Structure for the Pigs. Wanted to get an estimate for building this semi permanent structure. Also, where do you get the Saw Dust and the other products on the bottom of the Floor? A big thank you to the Farm Manager, Charles, and of course the Camera crew, for the thorough explanation of the Pigery.
Thank you so much. I will do a video on the cost of building that structure.
We get the saw dust from the carpenter workshops. A full sack costs 1500 uganda shillings. So we always get over 150 bags in a month.
@@ValueFarmUG I need this structure dear please tell me how much I need for your team to make it for me
