@@jemedsall2367 Hey, it depends on your comp and the enemy teams comp. When you have Wombo Combo potential you can go for wardens cage. The single ult has a very short cd and its very flexible.

Dude, this is like one of those rare montages where I like have no clue how you are doing this. This whole montage has been a consecutive moment of mechanical asotnishment for me, the level only Rich clips sometimes have for me. Your mechanical skills are through the roof: you are the reason she gets/got nerfed dude. Good job and keep it up.

That's how balance works. They give you one overpowered character, you learn to love it and how to use its mechanics and then when you are able to use it to its full potencial they nerf it.

@@Maleficarum999 I'm bronze, Maiev is lvl 7 and with a decent team (some heal and some follow) i'm doing 45k dmg lol, also look at your assist, Maiev can shine without a lot of dmg, by giving a lot of opportunities to teammates! :D
@@lenamiaou7528 it works both ways. People in bronze can't really play against good melee assassins (like Maiev, Ala, Zera etc.), so more things become possible if you're getting better with them.
I don't care if people say this game is dead, I just got started and I love it, I'm going to play every day and show my love for it.

I love every second of this.. Straight up props.. HOTS vids of someone owning on one of the more difficult heroes to learn.. Its one thing to put out a montage on an easy DPSer. This though. Nothing but respect. I wouldn't even be mad if you taunted me either, I'd just be like " Yep he earned it"

Spaßvogel here’s my question. As I practice the W BUILD, I notice your not using it all the time in this. What else do you usually go with?
armst012 actually I go it 95% of the time, I go AA build when the enemy s got a lot of cc. some clips are not in my perspective (so it looks more fancy) maybe it just seems like I don't have W build, but it's almost always it :p

Friend I do not know if you are going to read this, but I want to tell you that 2 years ago I was the typical bronze player of kaelthas and diablo, I saw this and I told myself that one day I would do things as epic as you do, it is magical what you transmit Thanks to you I am no longer bronze, there were many failures, deaths under tower and insults that I took for trying to improve, but now I have touched a diamond, and I do not know if the heroes profile page has lied to me but I reached the mmr top on maiev of the season, today after 2 years I still see you and you still make me smile and want to get into heroes of the storm and keep improving, maybe there are better maiev than yours but mine is good and I will always remember you as the best (For people like you the game deserves to be alive)

We learn from our mistakes right, you need to try new risky things to improve your maximum capacity. Many people say that they main Maiev now because of me, this gives me so much back i could never ask for it :)

In 2020 i saw this video and i'm really honest saiyng that i had issues to sleep just thinking about how amazing this was. I started to play Maiev then, now i'm lv 40 with her and i feel really good that i can do many things you did here (not all of course lol). Thanks, you helped me been trough the pandemics and are an inspiration!

Great comp, There are multiple moments I had to go back and watch what happened quite a few times.
Just a suggestion, could you possibly do some kind of highlighting of the hero of interest so it's easier to look for what's going on.

But be careful, if the enemy´s cc you in that time, you wont be able to get out. Ofc there are ways to play around (waiting for there cd´s, avaiding it with D) but its just practice over all :)

Hey Spaßvogel. I watched this video about 5 months ago and you inspired me to learn Maeiv. I had a terrible time with the first 15 levels or so trying to get a hang of her as it was my first melee assassin that I played much and she was so different than other characters. I was doing so badly and averaging a measly 20k damage per game and getting all sorts of crap in QM and unranked for it. Then everything started to come together and I started getting better and better. Now she's my favorite and best character and I hit level 70 with her last night. She has such a cool playstyle and the plays you can make with her are just outstanding. Now a lot of people know me as "the Maeiv main", opponents will counter-ban her if they see me in the draft, and my friends will build comps around me so we can steamroll our opponents if they let her through. It feels so good to come such a long way from that terrible start. I'm looking forward to getting better with her and getting over level 100, and I have you to thank for the inspiration.

Damn, really sick Maiev plays. I can only dream of the angles you hit your Qs at, like damn lol. Even though I got a little better with the resets these days, this is like a far way off for me lol. Kinda just wanted to ask, if you even pick something like Pin Down or not. And also on 13, do you go for armor gain from Q or W? I mean, Q seems like very sustainable if you can hit your Qs this effectively, although for you its the same even with the W xD. And one more question, does this kind of playstyle go online only in late? (16 lv +) or can you make it this fearsome even earlier? :D Also do you have any tips for landing Ws? I kinda feel like I always try to attack someone and I end up messing up my aa somehow and either not hitting or missing completely (example of where you do it godlike is when you catch that Genji before he jumps lol). Anyways, sorry for long text and a tons of questions, I was just really amazed by your plays xD.

I've learned so much from this xD I didn't know you could use her abilities this quickly at the same time. Like I can barely see the shadow get cast somewhere so I know they can't either.

Best Maiev plays i have ever seen. Do you play everything on Quick Cast? I tried quick cast, but hard to get Q resets with it. So i switched to On Release, but its a bit slow to do lvl 16 combo with On Release. Can you suggest something bro

Get used to quick cast, practice in try mode (with CD reduction activated) and vs ia
start to practice quick cast, in almost every hero, u will see the results

I really enjoyed editing it ( with Hitfilm express )and was hoping to make a longer and better one but i couldn't be bothered watching random replays. So from now on out im going to note wich replays contain good plays and make a complete vid in a while :P

Any talent recommendations? I'm intermediate at maiev (level 12) not good as yours tho. I use E to initiate, never to break tether. Now I learned something from your gameplay

That clip I saw you get a stim drone was pure terror. You already are good and know what you're doing on maiev, but putting a stim on you is just not fair lol.
How long did it take for you to master W combo?
I see that you mostly (not always) use E after you got enemies chained to you (to get additional stacks I suppose).

Not E to get additional stacks, but to teleport away and cause the chains to do the guaranteed pull dmg (versus trying to run out of range to trigger it).

Hey man that is some high amount of skill you are showing on maiev not only with the build, but with your reaction to dodging alot of stuff with your trait, I recognize alot of those players I've matched with them on HL EU ... Valomaks, OTPAutite, bestseiferEU (Kappa), phillR, SVGul'Dan, they are around low master, so you have alot of potential to climb to GM, Id like to see what other hero you are using for that goal, since the higher you go maiev will be a harder pick for you to go through with. Also I rly liked that spongebob remix XD

Its the Cruel Chain Talent on 16 that increases the pull dmg also i always combine my spells so fast that it looks als like 1 move
for exampel, i add always a Q before pull out, so its not only the W dmg but also the Q dmg in 1 single strike

Qm got his own style ^^. The good thing about is, you can practice wired situations/comps/plays to get the best results from it. Just try to learn from your mistakes and try always new stuff out, as better you get, so better your stats will be.

Dude i wonder after getting Cruel chain, how do you start attacking people? First chain with W or E with blink then W?
It's always situational, depends on how much space you have. If you need to be quick, then I recommend to do E first.
Hi, in 1v1 I often fail to build up 5 cruel chain stacks in time. In many clips here I notice that you use your W cleave and do a basic attack right after it with no delay, for example against chromie at 4:25. It looks very strong, but how was that possible? In your maiev guide this is not covered, was it patched?
Well, if you stay close enough, you will attack automatically
@@spavogel7625 Thanks for taking the time, but the mechanic I was looking for is something different, and I found out what. Leaving it here for reference:
1) If you press W, then start an AA, the animation plays out (using the cleave) and then maiev will wait her full AA delay until the next AA.
2) But if let your AA animation start, and then press W in the small timeframe before the dmg number pops up, you will first get the cleave, and then instantly get the next AA.
No idea why this happens, samuro W does it too, but not rag Q, for example. Timing it correctly is hard - pressing W too late isn't that bad, as you will do an AA followed by the cleave (you got the AA reset, yay, but are missing out on 1 cruel chain stack). If you press W too early you will get scenario 1), and miss out on both your AA reset and your cruel chain stack.

Level 1 is Bonds of justice
Level 4 is Blade dance
Level 7 is Elune's wraith
Level 10 is situational
Level 13 is normally Bladed Armour but I like chain gang personally if they're clumping up
Level 16 is a HUGE power spike with Cruel Chain for the insane burst
And level 20 is situational
