I know it's easy to call someone obsessing over someone a creep, but at the end of the day, Darren's dad was just like any other person being a fool for love. He did go the wrong way about dealing with the rejection, by letting his anger and jealously get the best of him, but at least he redeemed himself by letting Davina go.
