The rotation problem I think is caused by not having enough vertical drag, can be fixed by bigger tail fins. Additionally, you can have better control over pitch, yaw, and roll by separating your flaps from ailerons; (flaps are used primarily for taking off and ailerons are used for roll orientation, having large ailerons means unstable roll axis.) Another thing that could be added is having the tail surfaces act as a combined rudder and elevator, could be a little complicated but it also could be fun, idk
This challenge video was neat! I've heard of Butch13 Gaming and his mods. Pretty surprised on how close the votes were but you won nonetheless 👍 Also this flying Automation car mod definitely gave me DH Hyper Bolide (?) vibes heh heh 😄
If we're talking about challenges, I have another one that you might want to think about. If you change the gravity and that happens immediately without having to be reloaded, how about truck trailers with gravel or the like, where the weight of the load is changed at the push of a button without everything having to be reloaded? and maybe a few road train trailers? 😅
Love your content ❤ Here are a few facts to help you with airplanes: *The big wings* (usually just forward of the center, not a real name/term) *Ailerons* - This is the primary means of turning _aka roll_. Most planes just have one on each wing, while bigger planes may have more inboard. *Flaps* - These are the large flaps (aptly named) at the back of the wing that you only see on take off and landing. Extending the flaps provides more lift allowing planes to land at lower speeds and the steep angle of the flaps relative to wing provides drag that helps the airplane slow down and maintain a slower speed. *Slats* - Same function as flaps just in front of the wing. *Winglets* - These are fixed parts on the tips of the main wings that bend upwards, typically only seen on larger aircraft this aids general performance of the airplane by preventing air from under the wing escaping round to the top. *The Tail* *Horizontal stabilizers* (the two small wings at the back) This is a control surface much like ailerons except both move in the same direction, used to control the up and down motion of an airplane _aka pitch._ *Vertical stabilizer* (the big wing that sticks up vertically like a shark fin) This is used to prevent an aircraft from flatspinning. Motion on this axis is called _yaw_ or _yawing._ It is also used on landing to keep aircraft flying on a straight coordinated path when there is a crosswind (wind blowing into the side of the aircraft). It would be remiss of me not to mention something about placement of other things and engines, so I'll let you in on something. Placement of anything will affect the balance of an aircraft. Placement of the engines as well as affecting the balance, the balance will change when increasing or decreasing thrust, if done incorrectly this will result in severe handling issues. This was a famous issue with the 737 Max and in order to comply with safety standards had a computer, but on the incident flights the sensor that fed information to this computer malfunctioned. I hope this helps and if you're bored one day here's a link that goes over a little more www1.grc.nasa.gov/beginners-guide-to-aeronautics/learn-about-aerodynamics/
13:20 Flaps serve to adjust how much lift the wing produces (usually at the cost of increase drag), extending flaps let the plane get enough lift to fly at slower speeds; usually used more on take offs and landings; to more quickly escape the drag from the tires rolling on the ground , and get lower speeds for more control and shorter brake distances, respectively); ailerons redirect airflow in opposite directions to make the plane roll.

@fillman86 i dont want to ruin your day but i'm like 90% sure that the wings are upside down and that they would create much more lift if you flipped them. just look at airplane wings from the side and you'll see what i mean.
I wonder if Carol Vordaman would be good at Beam NG modding, lol.... There is no way I would have the patients to relax after and during the process of modding, Amen to people like yourself, Who does things for Beam that is keeping it alive when the VR is so flipping terrible, I am a Sim Racer at Heart, I loves a bit of Touring Car Racing, Probably coz I grew up during a time when BBC 2 and Channel 4 had British Touring Championships always on TV during the Weekend, Back in the 90s there would be so much racing on TV the VCR was recording one Race while you watch another Race, And the Rally was always on the Weekends, And if I remember right on a Tuesday or Thursday one of the two, But yeah Touring Car racing was always on TV when I was growing up, Hint Hint, A British Touring Cars season and the cars would be great on Beam NG, People like me would actually pay a few quid for Escort RS Cosworth, Sierra 4x4 RS Cosworth, Ford Capri's, BMW 3 series, And the Merc Touring cars from the 90s would be a fantastic mod, But I must be honest, Since I have started Sim Racing in VR, I would find it difficult now to even think about enjoying Sim Racing if I had to use my TV again, Even if it is a 55inch 4K TV, It only goes to 60hertz, Where as the Quest 2 gives me 72 at the least, Plus you won't beat feeling like you stepped inside a game, From watching you play a game on a screen, After trying AMS 2 in VR and online in Multiplayer, Plus AMS 2 have got a really great Sim Racing bunch, You can learn a lot following a fast Sim racer, I am not getting any faster now either and I think it is because I am still using a Logitech Steering wheel, I am trying to get faster but I can't get any better with things like when the car slides out, That reaction time the gears take is just too long, And the wheel not being strong enough to go back to center in things like when you is Rallying and need to be fast on the wheel, I wonder if using a DD wheel in Dirt Rally 2 will make you faster than if you was using a Logitech G290, Coz I will say it how it is, If you got faster inputs then yes you will be faster and in Sim Racing tenths of a second could be the difference in a podium or not, lol... I love Sim Racing, In Fact if I was rich I would open up a place for the Youth to go to for free to Sim race, I think every community should have a place where the young heads can find the skills that they is good at, Everyone on this planet got a skill that can be implemented into a hobby creating a job or even better a Factory Race Driver, And Prison's also as well, Imagine a Jail having a Sim Racing room for young Prisoners who is off the rails to be used as a tool to stop the youth going off the rails, Just leaving young kids 23 hours locked up, Is only going to create an attitude of not giving a crap, I bet in poor communities and YOI's have got talented kids who got the brains to do things they thought they could not, People just needs the chance to find what they is good at and then implement that in life, I bet there is loads of young heads who would be good at coding programmes and software ect... I was wondering as well a Jet Harrier mod with helicopter blades that fold out and up through the roof of the car, This is actually amazing though having the ability to mod and create funky idea's on a car or lorry or Tank lol, Put a Plane from IL-2 Sturmovic on Beam, A Spitfire in Beam would be fantastic, Flying a Spitfire with a Steering wheel and blowing bridges up in a Spitfire, Yeah that would be great, Oh yeah IL-2 Sturmovic is fantastic in VR, I am blown away how real the planes look, The only bad part is the instruments can't be manipulated like on DCL, But IL-2 Sturmovic is amazing with the WW2 battles actually being the battles in the game, D-Day DLC took 3 years so I read, And I got nothing but respect for the people who gave and fought for their life's during WW2, Like the Battle Of Britain, If Britain lost the battle, Britain would of been invaded, I won't lie though a Spitfire Mod would be amazing in Beam NG, I think IL-2 Sturmovic allows for mods, So maybe you can use one of the planes from IL-2, Is that possible and be legal in the copyright world? Still though you got some brain juice to get the brain around the mod stuff, My Anxiety goes through the roof if i has to do mods and it goes wrong, I goes wrong all together, Plus I needs to stop smoking ASAP, Another reason I have ordered a T300 RSGT wheel, So I can reduce my smoking enough to actually be able to stop, Plus Getting a new Steering wheel for the rig is going to keep me into Sim Racing, And fingers crossed I can start getting faster, That way I won't look so foolish if I enter online comps....lol.... Oh yeah I will say too I think Beam NG has got the most real to life FFB physics there is in Sim Racing, And if Beam NG's VR was better than it is, Or like AMS , Or even Euro Truck 2, I was blown by Euro Trucks sunrise the other week in VR, So if Euro Truck an open world Sim can do VR so well while still in develop mode so to speak, Why is Beam NG so bad in VR?, Beam NG been a thing for a while now, And if a Sim Racing game has not got both VR and Normal or Triples, I seen the Halo screens that wrap around like triples, Looks bad ass, So is the price though, But VR and the Quest 2 has really opened up my eyes to see that if a game is made with no VR support then people won't bother with it, After you have used VR for Sim Racing there is no going back to a screen, lol... @@fillman86 I remember you saying you was dyslexic in the Cammus review you done, But Myself, I ordered a T300 GT RS, I am getting fed up of the Logitech, I can't get any faster with the G29, So I ordered a Thrustmaster T300 GT RS wheel earlier, Will be in the T300 club tomorrow lol, Hopefully I can start using my Sim racing skills to full advantage, The G29 or 920 what ever one I am using now, Will be a T300 GT RS tomorrow, I am not diving into DD wheels unless I was able to get an R8 from Moza, Or with DD wheel's I feel things will go wrong faster with Cheap DD wheels, I hate to say it but every time I have bought cheap products, I end up buying again, Always, So the T300 is a tried and tested to work and with enough FFB for me, As I race in VR.... Day 7.4 of commenting: You probably wont do it, but anyway. Here is a car Suggestion if you want: the Xiaomi su7. There are 3 variants of it, different in their Performance. I thought, that it would be a bit more of a Challenge if you would be able to switch modes in that car. But while driving, so you press a button and you can select between the Performance and the Suspension settings(like race mode with hard Suspension and comfort with soft ones). I thought Maybe 3 modes, and each mode should match the Performance of the 3 variants of the su7. Maybe you are interessted. Sorry for my bad Englisch, its not my native language. Have you got a Mod for Beam NG that makes the VR better, lol....
Dear fillman86.
Is it possible to create a 2002 lincoln navigator. For the next video It is my dream mod to have in beamng.

How did you change the value that is inline on the two seperate lines, I know your already confused so what you did here 8:47
it's for VS Code only, you hold the middle mouse button and drag up or down
Oh the aviation nerd in me is upset by this video
lol I'm sorry, I just didn't have the time XD
Can you please do a tutorial on how to get a working manual shifter
oh that's not so simple, I'd suggest just taking the code and models from a normal working car
14:49 good physics
actually having the car's body torque due to the engine and wheel's rotation is something that I don't think I've seen in any other game
Ah
fill can u make a 2011 chevy orlando

If you dont understand what i meant, i could try to rewrite it and explain it better if you want.
But anyways,i really love your videos
