  • Hey guys, my brothers had this thing about 2 years now and I’ve never gotten a video of it! It’s a 1975 Chrysler Cordoba with a 360 2bbl and a 727 torqueflite, he’s pretty much gone through this thing end to end so far, he still has the Cutlass but wanted something more luxurious from the 70’s

I LOVE those cars... Honestly, i think the 70's cars had great lines and fantastic potential. But the government really stepped in and ruined it all where it couldve been so great. Not only choking engines but making companies turn to MASSIVE bumpers. I understand the safety aspect of the idea but it came on so fast that manufacturers didnt really have much time to integrate and ended up slapping giant hunks of chrome on the ends until they could catch up. Still, there were certain cars that made up for things but not many. This one happens to be one of those sweet rides that could've been REALLY awesome but ended up getting choked out and oil embargoed out of existence.

Yep all the great engines that got wiped out due to "emissions"

Well, at least those bumpers could I actually take a smack. You get a 3 mile impact on a car today and you have to replace the whole front end.

With dual exhaust and a few performance mods, these Cordobas and their Charger counterparts seem to take on a whole new badass persona. 👍

Boy they sure do! When he first got this one it had the 14 by what 7 inch rims with those wire hub caps that stuck out like 10 inches in the center lol and sat like a squatted truck

@@RooneysSears01 They offered a "Daytona" trim package on these Chargers, I think for 1977. No giant wing or shovel nose though. 😄😉

IMO, 360 eng was best all-around eng ever put into production cars! Just behind 413 Semi-Hemi. To me, (I owned 3) 318 was unpredictable junk.( some good, but, mostly un-predictable, random junk). With regular maint/normal repair, my 360's lasted from 385k to 415k. Tough job was keeping transmissions innem.

I agree they are strong engines! This one had alittle over 54,000 original miles on it when he got it, it’s been running so good he really doesn’t want to swap it out or modify it too much
