- We find the maximum likelihood estimates for the mean and variance parameters of a normal distribution when complete data is given. The mean estimate is unbiased, while the variance estimate is asymptotically unbiased.

Question for the viewer : Based on this video, determine whether the professor is left-handed or right-handed?
Hi! I am right-handed! Sorry for spoiling the fun!
I like this format for tutorials, but don't know how to do it. What kind of software/hardware is used to make this style of video?@@mikethemathematician
that's easy ! He writes in the same direction as his writing hand, so his main hand is right
Just make the video from opposite direction then flip the video
you made a subtle mistake in the chain rule differentiation. The partial differential in terms of M of -(xi - M)^2 is 2(xi-M). However, you sorta still wrote the correct answer in the end while it doesnt logically follow.
@Sherythinker Thanks for pointing that out! I probably realized the sign error in the argument and corrected without erasing!
@@mikethemathematician😂 yeah it's no biggie! You're welcome.
thanks Mike
@EduTech01 Thanks for stopping by the channel!
Thank you Professor
@nick1oe you are welcome!
3:36 summation of xi why we got x bar because there are did not divide by n
Thank you Sir! It's really helpful.
@nerd-hm Thank you! I hope you enjoyed!
THANK YOU
My pleasure!
Thank you sir
@BhoomikaSaxena-bm7xk you are very welcome!
Thanks PROF)
Of Course Arman!
@@mikethemathematician PROF watching lectures will watch in these days all U published)
Love it! Subscribed teacher Mike
@kexintian8888 Thank you so much!
