I've had enough of Sole fishing.....roll on Cod Fishing
Won't be long until the Cod will be in hopefully more this year than last year.....
So target achieved all be it just the 2 probably got one more Sole session in me unless I hear otherwise its been a reasonable year and certainly kills at least 5-6 weeks......
Very strange how it dies of death once dark generally that's prime time......

When you say you don’t like going up past a 3 weight as no point fishing off the bottom what do you mean? I’m learning still and all ways seem to use a 5 or 6 weight fishing on my little boat out there, going through a pretty quiet spell as not caught nothing in weeks ❤

Always use a lead to maintain staying on the bottom you won't catch fish midwater........

I will start cod fishing in the boat towards the end of September into start of October.......simple running ledger with squid.........

@Erevoking ideally 5/0 and a 2/0 or 3/0 pennel hook I would recommend sakuma Manta Extra wide gape hooks 70lb clear trace line........
