This upload was VANtastic!!... The only thing that seemed to be missing from each of these vans was a CB radio. Oh! How I miss the 70s!! 10-4 Good Buddy!😄
Your welcome.. I know I built more than a few with my father always a great time and fond memories.. I think I need to build another one at some point. Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours also.
The 84 (red) Chevy caught my eye - decent hauler, or a nice base for conversion. Not a bad price either. Thanks as always - just in case - Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! ~ Chuck
As a young man I never would have entertained the idea of owning a van or station wagon but now that I’m in my 40s they’ve just grown on me for some weird reason, I’d love a nice 70s boogie van!
Had a neighbor with an early 80s Chevy. Lifted on 36" swampers. All the WTF videos make me despise all the window lickin' ree-rees that think anything lifted is cool, but if you want a hunting, fishing, and getting into trouble her dad mobile, go ahead and lift a van. JUST DO IT RIGHT!🤠 Love this channel.
I dig custom vans. Back in the mid 70s, they were all the rage. Even had one planed out in my head that I wanted to build. A few of those are well worth the time and effort to customize. And I know of someone that would flip over the Corvair wagon. He has storage containers full of spare parts for corvairs. The 83 Dodge Shorty would make a great rock crawler. Would take a ton of work and an endless budget. But it could work🤣🤣🤣. I guess they all come down to price in the end. Another outstanding video. They always make my day.
Awesome video man! I love to see some old van projects, I love that first Chevy van especially, that would be one sweet ride to drive, and and second pick would go to the wild artwork Dodge van with the Danzig skull with horns, very cool! But thanks for the video and take care, 👍😎
i've always had a spot for sea hags. never met a chevy sea hag before though. the back looked soft and colourful and like a great place to trip on some diviners sage or dmt. i liked it.
My top 2 and only 2 choices in this video is First that Tandem Van... it could be a battle wagon lol. There was an RV that was like that tandem look and was a 6x6, (apparently its also rare idk) , which i would not mind owning if not $$$$, My second choice is that WV van freaking sick. That thing looks like a lot of fun to cruise in.
Nice looking at the old sin bins. I'll admit there were some nice ones. And then a couple that the only thing missing was a "Free Candy" sign on the side of the van.
I would take the 66 Ford Scoobie Doo van, I always liked those, very easy engine access. Same with the dodge Mystery Machine. Maybe I just liked Scoobie Doo to much, LOL.
man,,, vans,, back in the 90's it was good have a friend with a Van,, specially in summer, going in group to the Lake, or the water park,, and cool corvair van.
I absolutely love the Corvair van, both inside and out and I'm not normally someone who likes leopard print anything but I would drive that as it is, just not at that price and nowhere near it.
Hi there bro. That 77 Chevy van is awesome and I completely agree with you about the front end. That was it’s signature. The price is a bit high, but I do know that those vans are fetching some serious money. The 1980 Ford van I will admit I am not keen on. I think it’s because of those rear wheels. Now I love the Econoline especially the front end and that is coming from someone who doesn’t like Ford. I love the red van but not so much the grill. But it looks to be in great condition. Especially for the money. Now we are talking. The 71 VW van is just perfect and I know that those things definitely hold their price. The 76 Dodge van is just too cool. That is the perfect van to do up 70s style with all the crushed velvet and so on inside. I agree with you on the grill on the other Dodge van but it has too many windows and how are you supposed to make a passion wagon with so many windows? Also, I don’t really like the colour. Definitely needs a respray. Now I have to admit that I do like that Corvair van just the way it is. I do know that the car was a nightmare, even though I liked it as opposed to Ralph Nader. Unsafe at any speed. I’ll bet he was popular with GM. Not! LOL. I am definitely with you about the inside. Having come from Africa I cannot stand anything Animal print. To me it looks cheap and tacky. If you want leopard skin or zebra skin, then get yourself a leopard or a zebra. Preferably a live one. Now that 77 Dodge is just beautiful. I know I was born in 74 but I think that I was definitely born maybe a decade and a half too late. Most of the cool cars came out in the 70s and especially the vans. I absolutely love when they do that slatted grill on those vans. And then of course there is the artwork and being a paint guy I appreciate that sort of Lowrider artistry on the sides of those vans. No man. The tie-dye and all the fur makes that van. When I think of 70s American vans that’s what I see in my head. LOL. Another fantastic video from you bro and I really, really look forward to the next one. Thank you for doing this video for us. Proud to be a subscriber. Please take care of yourself and many blessings to you and your family from the UK.
I liked everyone of the vans in this episode.. but the red chevy was probably the best buy of the group today.. thanks for being a subscriber we definitely appreciate you. Have a good one be safe.
I remember back in the day when they had Van Clubs..The popularity of it kind of went away but not until so many sunk allot of money into them..10 grand for that 66 Econoline i think is pretty fair price but only if the body is straight..Meaning no bondo..37 grand is Pretty steep for that VW van..considering Beetle sedan prices are in the 20's around the same year that are in great shape hard to say but i think they are still asking a bit too much..i would say closer to 22 to 25 might get more interest
The VW is way overpriced. I just looked at one totally rebuilt all original VW parts great paint job. $7k. It probably had about 15-20k off work. The guy rebuilds 60s & 70s VW models
I can't really drop any bambs or these and I agree with most of what our host stated. However, for the 1966 Econoline. if I am going to pay $10K for it, someone better do something about the non-interior because I wouldn't want to pay more than $2,500 for it as is.
In my opinion most people want a blank canvas to work with and even though some of them were tastefully done I still can't get on board with the interiors.
that same body style of that all turquoise Ford van are a popular van yo make them into wheelie monsters because tey have all that real-estate behind the rear axle to add weight inside helping it along with a engine made for torque and you can get it rockin back n forth by just simply playing with the throttle and using the way it throws its weight you can time it right to get the tires hopping out front and once you get the fronts off the ground you floor the throttle and you can pull a decent wheelie just dont let iff the gas otherwise you come down too fast and thats when you start breaking suspension and front end parts tgat are needed to drive and steer which is begging to lead to some kind of disaster & possibly harm to the driver
I just finished redoing a 94 Chevy Van G20 I've got about 14 Grand in it so that's about right and it's all new but the new van is 52,000 so take your pick
This is another one of those situations where you see this high-priced vans and these people are trying to get out what they put into them, and they gotta stop dreaming that they're going to do that because no matter how much money they put into these things, they are not gonna get every penny out of it that they put into it unless they find achucker that's willing to spend that kind of Money. They have to realize they're going to lose money on this adventure that they did. They are never, ever going to get every penny out that they put in to these projects. You always wind up losing money.I hate to break that news to you guys unless you're building it for somebody else. When you build for yourself you wind up losing money
Absolutely.. anytime you customize or over customize a vehicle you run the risk of never getting a return on your investment. Thanks for watching and commenting
There are definitely some good projects in this one, but that Volkswagen was probably mislabeled. I saw a few that I would customize with a cutting wheel, like the A100 and the Ford version of it, also, the corvair would get it's headlights canted among other things. I'm just waiting to see what meth head Dave and crack head Bob have been up to since the last time they were on the channel.
This upload was VANtastic!!... The only thing that seemed to be missing from each of these vans was a CB radio. Oh! How I miss the 70s!! 10-4 Good Buddy!😄
I know what you mean. They'd be perfect with a CB radio.

I did dig the checkered cab on the left side of the rear view of the Frank's speed shop van. I do love vans but I really love those old checker cabs.
Yeah that was a cool checker cab for sure!
Thats Rick Fairless from Strokers Dallas sitting in the last van. Legendary motorcycle builder.
Red van for 4k! Deal of the day!
I definitely agree.
Thanks for watching and commenting

🤣🤣🤣.. yeah the last one had a lot going on
Thanks for posting,always welcome.
I actually like the 83 Dodge shorty the best. The short wheelbase, 318, and 4 speed sounds like a lot of fun to me. 😎
4k on the red Chevy, has potential.
Yes .. thanks for watching and commenting
i've always had a spot for sea hags. never met a chevy sea hag before though. the back looked soft and colourful and like a great place to trip on some diviners sage or dmt. i liked it.
Great video, i liked most of the cheaper ones,,it leaves some money to customize
Thank you.. yeah a few today had a fair price.

Ford guy here, all the van owners can TAKE MY MONEY! Now of course with some negotiations.
That last van was Rick from strokes ace in Texas. He's cool as hell. Loves smoking grass. Allegedly of course
Hell yeah. Vans and Long Roofs are my favorite
How can anyone not like a cool custom van , or long roof.. 🤣
Thanks for watching and commenting
Think those Dodge A100 & Ford Econoline vans are kool especially kustom lowered.
I like the idea for a lowered van, it always makes a van look more aggressive. And just cool as 💩
I would take the 66 Ford Scoobie Doo van, I always liked those, very easy engine access. Same with the dodge Mystery Machine. Maybe I just liked Scoobie Doo to much, LOL.
Hey who don't like Scooby-Doo
man,,, vans,, back in the 90's it was good have a friend with a Van,, specially in summer, going in group to the Lake, or the water park,, and cool corvair van.

I drive a 1999 Dodge Ram Van.

Any of those 70s Chevy vans are worth the most and look the best
I agree..thanks for watching and commenting
The last vans interior looks like who. Ever did that was on some microdot or window pane. 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Luv the V-dub❤
Some of those prices are way too much in my opinion. Glad you're back
I agree.. some of these guys are a bit crazy!
Thanks glad to be back

Right.. thanks for watching and commenting
I had a 77 Chevy van that I kept till 96 ran great 350 engine
I'm a big fan of the older vans.
I love the late 60's-early 70's vans but they were cool until the early 90's. I did like my 01 odyssey though. 230hp and would haul a riding mower.
I hear ya.

Best for last, WAY too much for me, but nice though!

I think anything older than 1992 isn't worth it as a practical daily driver. 92 and up, fuel injection, ok.⛽
You should find some more cursed rvs
Soon.. thanks for watching and commenting
First Econoline
It was cool.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Last van negative $900 for that Zebra dash. So awful, there should have been a warning, my eyes, my poor eyes.
No doubt..thanks for watching and commenting
🤔😂💯👍
I just finished redoing a 94 Chevy Van G20 I've got about 14 Grand in it so that's about right and it's all new but the new van is 52,000 so take your pick
Nobody is paying these prices for vans like this.
Danzig sucks, the VeeDub does NOT suck, the flat-front vans are the cat's pajamas.
Thanks for watching and commenting
First one 1100 bucks they're all under $5,000
I hear that.
Thanks for watching and commenting
For that year van and nothing spectacular under the hood and you don't know what kind of condition the frame is in that price is way too high
Pretty much
The Econoline is cool as F.
Everything is 10 grand😂😂

ID RATHER WALK AND CARRY A FORD HUBCAP THAN DRIVE A DODGE O,T,
Shagadelic
🤣🤣
I've always liked lifted 4wd vans. I don't like how vans drive I wouldn't buy one.
Gotcha.

Used to ride around in these heaps in the 70's. They were mostly junk.
