- Honda in-line four Cafe racer series. 1974 CB400Four Super Sport and 1975 CB750Four Super Sport. Both motorcycles were fitted long fuel tank and 4 into 1 exhaust system. They competed the Kawasaki 900 Z1!

The CB750 and Kawasaki Z1 were two of the most popular big bikes here in Australia and all over the world. But while the GL1000 wasn’t as popular, it’s also a very interesting motorbike; a special touring bike that was designed for comfort and long distances. I think it was ahead of its time.
I was surprised to see the GL1000 first time. it was a water cooled large flat four engine. I thought, Honda made the Gl100 with the original design and it was not a super sport motorbike. After that the GL1000 developed as a motorbike for the long-distance touring. I don't know why, but I am interested in initial model GL1000 recently🧐
The GL1000 was well known in Australia if not popular. We have such large distances to cover here and the distance between capital cities is huge. That’s why a bike like the GL1000 was well known, because it was heavy, comfortable and had a low centre of gravity and low down torque - all features that are beneficial when touring.
It is precisely as you say. In fact GL1000 was not sold in Japan, so I've always had a longing to it. BTW, I will be on summer vacation for a week starting tomorrow.😊

カッコいい、良い音ヨンフォア赤、コレですね、750も味があります。黄色ヨンフォアも良いです。映像GL1000でてませんか、カッコエエ…です。2ストも好きですが、3気筒、とRZ．RG．RDと、4スト４気筒空冷イイです。ヤッパリヨンフォア、FXでしょう。暑いですね、お体お気を付け下さい。
