i went in the c63 black series at mercedes benz world yesterday and that car is by far the best car i have ever been in ,, with the car delimited it does over 200mph and the noise it has is insane!!! perfect all rounded car and nothing bad to say about it

Great looking car by all means. Carbon work was impeccable in person. But it takes a lot to be competitive in the price bracket this car targets. This is one of those cars you gotta know you want regardless of "the competition".
Cars like the Benz aren't meant to be compared with others on value. You buy it cause you love it. And that goes for all other sports cars out there too.

I don care how expensive this is, this car is fucking sexy as hell. If you have the money for it, buy it. If not then buy the regular C63 which is a great car as well.

All while still having a really nice interior.

How the hell did Edmunds get slower numbers than a C63 with the performance package?! Tested 3.7 0 -60 and 118mph in the 1/4 mile.
I love this car!
What about the Audi S6 that costs $55,000 less. Or a corvette zr1 that costs $15,000 less and gets to 60 a full second quicker. They are also very luxury.
The Boss is the only 5.0 close to this thing in performance and this thing is definitely capable of quicker 1/4 times. It's also more exclusive... Better looking and it just looks evil. Given a choice of the 2 cars if price wasn't a factor I would take this all day.
Motortrend ignition did the 0-60 in 3.7 AND 60-0 in 99 Feet...... and it showed it was $109,925
of course because 911 is a legend. C-class is just a car for one's daily commute and maybe have some fun during the weekend. A 911 is more of a lifestyle car.

i agree those two cars are better value for the money, but anyone who purchased this car didn't have "value for their dollar" in mind. They wanted something rare, exclusive, loud, and most of all a car that looks like it's ready to kick some heads in!

Im guessing people would buy this car over the normal C63 because of the increased performance right? Well for 130k you can easily buy and tune a GTR, which is also built for performance no?
Like the V8 exhaust but the Black series is a bit tacky with the racecar aero parts.

Runs the same numbers as a ZL1 Camaro. The Camaro pulls more lateral g's. Very expensive but most tuner cars are.
I think the M3 or *cough* Mustang Boss 302 are better values. For twice as much you should get twice as much car.

Randy was slower than the Z06 in a GT500... the video is on here. I have never ever seen any stock Boss 302 doing anything faster than a 4.1 second 0-60 and the LS just gets track goodies. Its not any faster to 60 than the normal 302. Show me where you found those numbers.
Maserati GranTurismo, Audi R8, BMW m3/m5, Viper SRT, Aston Martin Vantage and a Porsche 911 could all be bought for this money.
Its the black series. You can get a regular C63 for the same price as an M3
The reason why people choose to buy an amg is simple: AMG stands for rock solid quality. You need not be ashamed of his appearance.

Yeah dude you are right however it comes down to personal taste, the ZR1 buyers are individuals who actually know how to drive. The C63 AMG is way over priced and offers little over anything else you have mentioned, so I agree.
Even the Audi R8 costs less than this. Bloody hell.
The E550 coupe is unofficially faster than than this car. I read somewhere that some dude who has one got to 60 in 3.8 lol. I know it could have been just somebody bragging but the E550 sedan with the new TT V8 does the deed in 4.2 so he couldn't have been that far off.

ZL1 is a Camaro model... You have that confused with ZR1 which is the big boy Corvette.
This car is clearly targeted at Porsche's GT3. And clearly, MB is smoking some good stuff if they think it can even hold it's own next to it.
It's clearly for the people who think that the regular C63 is way too tame and sane.

a GT-R comes to mind, plus it'll beat this car in a straight line, at the track, braking, etc.
Pretty sure I can buy an amazing aftermarket exhaust system for less than $70,000. If you buy a car like this and overpay over $60,000 just for an exhaust system, you might not be the brightest bulb out there.
Stock for stock I doubt the Mustang beats this in anything... there's no stock 5.0 running the same numbers as this car. Obviously if you take the price difference and used around $90k to upgrade a Mustang it should be way way faster...

This is a great car, but the truth is why not buy a TT-RS for half the cost? The TT-RS has very similar numbers to this car.
dont compare mustang boss 302 with C63 black series boss is build in cheap way and c63 is build in expensive way if u search u can find the difference but i still agree about M3 bcos bmw have the same quality with merc

Hmmm... Car's that run similar 1/4 times don't "walk away" from each other. Not only that but insideline always has very conservative and slow numbers for car tests. So I wouldn't use their numbers to form conclusions. Judging by your name I'm guessing you are one of those people that thinks that the 5.0 is in the same performance league of cars like the Z06...
2013 Porsche Boxer S pulls 1g at skid pad and 72+miles at slalom. How much does that cost? $60,900. C'mon Mercedes, you need something to justify the price you ask.

Very nice if you had to money to buy one. But stop comparing with what's the better bargain, if you say that well, this car's target market wasn't for you anyways. At the end of the day it's a c63 blk series and well, mustang...is just a mustang. I don't give two shit about it when compared to a black series.
Obviously you literally can't get twice the performance, but there are better values out there.
I think the normal AMG C-Class in enough...
I don't like the massive race-style from this model.
Buy an S6 for $75000 or an M5 for $100,000 that are both faster or get a real sports car like a Porsche 911 or Corvette ZR1 for the same price. Why would anyone buy this? Ton of cars better than this for less or the same money. CTS-V comes to mind also, M3 etc etc.

Looks amazing, but compared to other German cars it handles like doodoo. And you'll need new tires every 400 yards.
you cant compare the mustang and the m3 together... they are both in a different league...

And that 9k still won't get you the technology or an interior anywhere near the quality. This car, like all mercedes, is not made to be a middle class persons budget supercar and have the best performance per dollar. They're made to be luxury cars that also has some performance for upper class people with lots of extra cash in their pocket.
