After everything that has been going on with me, I needed to hear this. Your work really can be healing, and I can say this one is really going to help me. Thank you so much for always being there, guys!
This song is on repeat for me. To work. At work. After work. I’m a therapist working in a men’s rehab facility & I played this song during a group session. It was an emotional & beautiful moment that sparked such deep and meaningful conversation about healing and growth and pain and hope and fear and recovery. Thank you for this song.
Literally was crying having a menty b outside 2 hours ago and then randomly decide to listen to guster after years and this song happens to come out 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Miles and miles go by from this window seat The lies we tell ourselves just to fall asleep It’s hard to know exactly when it changed WIth all the puzzle pieces out of place Everything that’s good will come again They had their time but now it’s over Bah ba-ba-ba-bah Maybe we’re alright ba-ba-ba-bah We’re just one day older Surprise, surprise Chasing fireflies as the sky turned gray Trapped in mason jars as they flash and fade The church around the corner has a sign “The end is near but help is right inside” Whatever gets you through the night They had their time but now it’s over You’ve got to take a photograph over your shoulder Bah ba-ba-ba-bah Maybe we’re alright ba-ba-ba-bah We’re just one day older Surprise, surprise Surprise, surprise Just close your eyes Miles and miles go by Miles and miles go by Maybe we’re alright Maybe we’re alright Maybe we’re alright Maybe we’re alright Bah ba-ba-ba-bah Bah ba-ba-ba-bah Bah ba-ba-ba-bah Bah ba-ba-ba-bah We’re alright.
@Doomvega I’m a fan of Guster. I’ve seen them live twice in San Francisco and it was amazing. But this was their old stuff. After the third album, everything went downhill. This new stuff has lyrics so on the nose it is embarrassing. Hard to believe this is the same group.
@@remainselusive1 I think they're cashing in on what their audience wants from them. It all started with Come Downstairs and Say Hello which is all about changing after being unhappy with yourself. Then "Hang On," "Hard Times," "Keep Going," and this song... They're definitely getting a vibe. A weakling vibe.
You’re all gonna LOVE this album. I can’t stop playing it!
Same at my house
From "fa, fa, fa, fa" to "ba, ba, ba, ba" - here for all the Guster eras. 🥰

Miles and miles go by from this window seat
The lies we tell ourselves just to fall asleep
It’s hard to know exactly when it changed
WIth all the puzzle pieces out of place
Everything that’s good will come again
They had their time but now it’s over
Bah ba-ba-ba-bah
Maybe we’re alright ba-ba-ba-bah
We’re just one day older
Surprise, surprise
Chasing fireflies as the sky turned gray
Trapped in mason jars as they flash and fade
The church around the corner has a sign
“The end is near but help is right inside”
Whatever gets you through the night
They had their time but now it’s over
You’ve got to take a photograph over your shoulder
Bah ba-ba-ba-bah
Maybe we’re alright ba-ba-ba-bah
We’re just one day older
Surprise, surprise
Surprise, surprise
Just close your eyes
Miles and miles go by
Miles and miles go by
Maybe we’re alright
Maybe we’re alright
Maybe we’re alright
Maybe we’re alright
Bah ba-ba-ba-bah
Bah ba-ba-ba-bah
Bah ba-ba-ba-bah
Bah ba-ba-ba-bah
We’re alright.
I love this fucking song. Played it at a open mic a few days ago without rehearsing and people still enjoyed it. Going to practice it more
I particularly liked the sheep solo
First heard this on Season 5 Ep4 of 9-1-1 Lone Star
If the album is finished why not release it now? it's still another 6 weeks away.
🦩🔥🦩
TV show Found brought me here...
Just heard it on 911 Lone Star! It was on Found, as well??
💃 "promo sm"
Your "ba's" are off.
Cringe
What do we call this, post-emo?

@@johncifelli5851 Cringecore
@@johncifelli5851 Check out Racquet Club. They manage to do emo for grown-ups without using every line to kill people with cringiness.
