Beautiful 50s cars, the shark shaped egg like car was incredible, typical of the style and innovation of the 50s America. You can see the decline start in the 60s as to car design and too many people, and lack of style especially from the 70s. The 2000s and beyond were depressing.

The biggest change seems to be the 1920s to the 1930s. The cars look like they have a modern chassis compared to what came before.

The Hell with battery powered cars. They were proved to be not cost effective, and not effective by any other measure of efficiency back in the 1920's. Battery powered electric cars would not be manufactured, or bought if not for the fraud perpetrated upon the tax payer in the form of tax subsidies provided to both the manufacturer, and purchaser..
