I'm guessing by the looks of it, he used a sod cutter. It would be the easiest way to do it if it was already a fully grown lawn.

@@phw340 it is! If I had a yard I'd do the same thing. I really like that he incorporated plants on the non track areas. Very cool landscaping.

We purchased our cars at a local shop near us called "Action Hobbies" and the chassis which we all are using are Tamiya XV01 and XV02.
