As a Muslim, I'd like to reassure you the fasting process isn't that brutal xD it's actually fun. However, I need to point out that in Islam when you're sick or on your periods you don't fast, you need the food and water so you are not allowed to fast at all. Same applies to older people, unless they physically can, but preferably not. Fasting Ramadan is about a lot more than just not eating and not drinking. I'm happy you guys brought it up and wished a Happy Ramadan ❤

I think it comes off like that when they're in costume. I've noticed the last two episodes where they weren't dressing up, Trisha seemed a little more annoyed but when she's wearing a costume she's so confident and friendly 😭

Depending on the extent to which the business was advertising dieting options warrants different approaches to this issue. However, it is reasonable to assume that the situation at the shop wasn't so extreme as Demi is making out. Demi is obviously still not well and is at a stage of recovery from her eating disorder that is not so stable. People are trying to use logical arguments to dismiss what she is saying such as the comment about diabetics diet requirements. Though people do not seem to acknowledge that what Demi is saying is likely not coming from a "logical" place right now and is purely on how she is feeling. If anything it shows us a glimpse in her mind about how her thoughts and attentional focus are consumed by food. Although what she says may not make complete sense and how she dealt with the situation wasn't appropriate does not mean how she felt is not valid. Mental health issues would not exist if people were always completely rationale and functioned appropriately in society. People need to empathise more with people and validate how they feel in order to be supportive, help recovery and change behaviour. Nothing will come out of telling people that they are wrong, selfish and entitled, if anything that will make the person feel and behave even worse. People who usually say those things tend to be insecure with themselves.
Feel like I need to post this everywhere because judging by what people say, they clearly do not understand mental health issues.

It's so funny but I'm uncomfortable with her labeling anything she doesn't find "normal" as tourettes. Like she sees people with verbal tics on "TourettesTok" and thinks it's the same for everyone. So anytime Ethan says something outrageous or weird she immediately says "Tourettes!". It would be nice if she took the time to educate herself a little better and even discuss it behind the scenes with Ethan to learn more about his specific condition and how his tics are more movement based rather than verbal.
