If as this video title claims you believe Samuel was the first of the prophets after Moses, just proves either you have never read the Bible or that you treat it like a salad bar only taking from it what you want. Joshua was the first prophet after Moses as he not only spoke to the angel of the Lord but then as mediator conveyed the battle instructions he got from said angel thus as Moses did, Joshua acted as mediator between God and the Israelites. Joshua also spoke to God when he asked him to keep the sun from setting until a battle ended which God did. Now if in your thinking neither makes Joshua a prophet. There is in fact in the book of judges a prophet and judge her name was Deborah found in Judges 4. There is also an un-named judge in Judges 6 where it only says "That the Lord sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them..."
Jos 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
Jos 5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

My friend I’m almost sure that Joshua was not a propet yes he was a great warrior more than he thought he was God assured Him of that and yes he was anointed man of God with a gift ✌🏽🙏

Deu 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Did the Lord speak to Joshua, yes several times. Did Joshua tell his fellow Israelite's to act on what he said the Lord had told him, yes again several times. Did the things Joshua said would happen actually happen, yes again several times. Did Joshua try to get the Israelites to chase after other gods, no he absolutely did not. This is the wonderful thing about having the Word even thousands of years later we can either discern if someone from the past was a prophet or false prophet in the exact same way and just as easily we can discern in modern times if someone is a prophet or a false prophet.

@@oldschool0072 I do not believe I am disputing it, but what I am doing is pointing the error made by this channel in this video. Which had this channel put in just a little bit of effort the mistake made could have easily been avoided. My problem is this is not just a learning channel but its creators by making such content have gladly accepted the yoke of teaching, which if a disciple of Christ wanted to test what they say using Scriptures as we have been called to do, we cannot do this because as I have shown earlier not only are their claims not found in the Bible but the Bible actually rebukes these claims. I think anyone who takes on the job of feeding Christ's sheep should be held to a much higher standard and that they should be willing to be scrutinized so these errors done either unintentionally or intentionally will not be accepted and believed to be truths.
