@Sevy I think, despite Caribert saying that he wouldn't be able to use the Loom of Fate at full power, because he was one with the Loom of Fate, he gained a moment of true clarity in his last moment and used the Loom of Fate at its full power. I think he was in the middle of using its lesser power before it faded to give the villages of Vimara Village that last memory, then the Loom of Fate fully engaged. It was then that, for the briefest of moments before he fully ceased to exist, Caribert was able to actual Weave Ley Lines. So he did. I think he weaved two Ley Lines. One to make that photo exist. I also presume he gave one to Aether as well. The second... was to bring the two dolls of himself and Atossa out of the memory and into reality. He said he was going to leave her a message. I think that was the message, but she has yet to see it as she, clearly, didn't clock it during the cut scene. And you know why I think this? Because if you go to Caribert's Tree and look up, the two dolls are sitting on a branch, exactly where they sat in the Tree in his consciousness. And if you go back and watch the cut scene of Lumine talking to Atossa, in the one shot where you can see the tree behind her, the dolls are up there on the branch. Also, as a side effect, the people of Vimara Village now know what Chlothar Alberich and his Lover (Caribert's Mother) look like. Caribert implanted the memory of seeing his parents come to take him home. I see no reason why he wouldn't use his actual parents for that implanted memory. So he not only ensured that his existence would be remembered, but also the existence of his parents. The villagers don't know their names, only what they looked like and that's good enough for Caribert.
ngl this quest made me even more sus about dains, think about it. How come out of the 5 ppl he mentioned not ONE of them stood up for khaenria, and later on the abyss twin that was the prince/princess of khaenria works with the person that supposedly betrayed khaenria? but doesnt work with dain that supposedly betrayed khaenria aswell?? and calls dain the traitor? to me it seems like khaenria has to have done something really f'd up, and dain was one of probably many reasons the entire cataclysm happened, otherwise how come, out of 5 ppl not a SINGLE one stood up for khaenria, and the supposed person that didnt betray khaenria is somehow the traitor according to our sibling, but not the other 5? or atleast not vedrfolnir somehow, i wouldnt be shocked if gold and the rest are working with the abyss twin aswell, and somehow dain is the only one out of the group that fell out.
Tbh I won't be surprised if Dain really was the only one who tried protecting Khaenria'ah... But we'll wait for the story to continue, I'm so excited about what will happen in the future :D
@@Thoma.supremacy ye but dont u find it weird that only one of them stood up to defend khaenria? and also isnt it quite the coincidence that our twin wasnt in khaenria the exact same time the nation went into flames, seems a little sus to me
If all pure blooded Khaenri'ahns were cursed with immortality, howcome we see literally no trace of their existence in the numerous villages and cities of Teyvat. We only see the half-blood Khaenri'ahn as Hilichurls instead. Is it possible that they're still living in the ruins of Khaenri'ah?
I think it's more of that most of them are just hidden away by Hoyoverse for plot sake. With the reveal of the 5 sinners, it's possible they're just wandering about or watching us (The Traveler) or they have some higher priority in this world (like Pierro) so we don't see them much.
@douglasjrza The Pure-Blooded Khaneri'ahns are Abyss. That's why we don't see traces of their existences. They don't "exist" on Teyvat. They "exist" in the Abyss. We saw what happened to Chlothar before the power of the Abyss emerged. Most Pure-Blooded Khaenri'ans, probably, remained hidden due to the massive amounts of erosion they were having to deal with, like Chlothar. Once Caribert gave himself to create The Loom of Fate and jump-start the Abyss, that power stabilized the erosion in the Pure-Blooded Khaenri'ahns that joined (most Khaenri'ahns, I assume). And at that point, they all moved into the Abyss to serve Aether or Lumine, depending on who you chose to play as. I also have to wonder if Chlothar wasn't the only Khaenri'ahn purged of the curse and allowed to die.
man, caribert is such a chad, used the completed loom of fate to heal the hearts of his people, and to print a photo on the real world of us all together... man really is chad who didn't deserved to be done that dirty...
Yeah, who was that who denied Caribert his childhood? Hint, not Sustainer for all problems of Heavenly Principles. It were Sinners worship of whom started Abyss Order. That's the moment where I understood that any dialogue with Sibling is pointless.
Was it not the Sustainer that cursed them? Then the sustainer is to blame. You want to curse the Sinners? Then don’t punish the people and curse everyone. Go after the Sinners….
@@TheGwilwileth Khaenrians were hit by Curse of Immortality. Which does exactly what is said on the tin - make them immortal and hence prevent them going into Leylines/Irminsul after death. And as I understand it reason for that curse was not in fact to punish them, but to prevent Abyss corruption they are tainted with to go into leylines causing similar thing to what happened with Desheret's breach in Sumeru. As I understand it pureblood Khaen are simply more resistant to Abyss corruption (and hence their love to play with Abyss energy) and in result they stayed human(ish) when halfbloods mutated in Hilichurls. In fact Hilichurlization is pretty similar to Eleazar (which is more organism mutating under influence of Forbidden Knowledge than illness) if much faster acting - so all halfbloods would've simply died without Curse of Immortality like Eleazar patients do. Curse of Immortality allowed them to survive mutation into Hilichurls. Essentially they were quarantined by antivirus software and it's virus who changed them.
@@TheGwilwileth Ugh. UA-cam have eaten my long reply, but essentially Curse of Immortality does exactly that - makes them immortal. Mutations are from Abyss, not Celestia, curse just allows them to survive and not die like Eleazar patients.
@@al103 wait no. Iirc, the curse of immortality affected all but has different effects depending on their bloodline. Pureblood Khaneriahan's retain their human form, but all others became hilichurls.
