50 Years of CARICOM Concert Barbados

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was established by the Treaty of Chaguaramas, which was signed by Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana, and Trinidad & Tobago and came into effect on August 1, 1973. Subsequently, the other eight Caribbean territories joined CARICOM.
What are the 15 CARICOM countries?
These member states are Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat (a British overseas territory in the Leeward Islands), Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
We celebrate our history, culture, and unity. Barbados welcomed regional artists for a mega concert for the 50th-anniversary celebration of CARICOM. The show was held at the National Botanical Gardens on Monday, July 31st, 2023.
