It’s actually not to odd for that to happen. I’ve been fortunate enough to crisscross the us many times and have seen my share of cyclists and other such travelers making their way
This has been one of my favorite series Hoonigan has ever put out. Just Scotto and friends exploring fun car stuff and getting into situations all over the country
On my first trip to Moab, UT from Minnesota I ran into a guy at a random roadside scenic overlook near Flaming Gorge, UT who was riding a hardtail Harley...he'd started in North Carolina and had planned to go to Sturgis but instead wound up riding out to Washington state, down through California, and was looping his way through Utah and Colorado, sort of just wandering his way home...a week later I pulled into a campsite in a National Forest in Wyoming and there he was unloading his bedroll from his handlebars and setting up his pup tent...I invited him over to my campsite and cooked dinner for him, since my 4x4 has a solar powered 12v fridge/freezer and a camp stove, and we sat around until dark just shooting the shit and eating carne asada tacos...I miss being on the road and camping my way across the country, you meet some really great people...
A channel called Scotto's Snack Break where Scotto shares all his favorite snacks, on the road and from home, with special guests like some of the other Hoonigans like Hert sharing some pizza stories would be dope.
Everything Scotto said about Sonic is why I like White Castle. I love the Harold and Kumar movies, and there is a White Castle that is an hour away from me. Sometimes my friends and I will hop in a car and drive for a couple hours just to get some burgers. We also do the same thing for cheesesteaks in Philly.
Rad trip, looks like a typical road trip, in the good ways. New people, issues o overcome, and no fighting with the road dog. Memories and a new vehicle? Yes indeed.
The carcane cafe sounds like a cool idea move the whole team out to the country. This has been a cool series you should do more of them bot towing a airstream
That's actually not a half bad retirement idea/plan. With any luck Finnegan or Freiburger might post up vehicles at your cafe, for "long term exhibits".
Scotto, you look like you are living life to the fullest these days. We all need to slow down and small the roses way more often than we do. Losing one of your best friends unexpectedly is one of the hardest and most heartbreaking things we can go through, I know it because I've been thrown it when my friend Ricky passed away. It is so awesome to see all the work you and the rest of the hoonigans are doing to keep Ken's legacy alive. God bless you and the hoonigan team.
We came back from Hawaii in 1966 on Route 66 and went through all those towns, and spent the night in the tipi-looking motel place and did a side to the Grand Canyon, because I was in 2nd grade and heavy into the geo sciences that year and had just read everything the school library had on the Canyon. Because rocks and fossils were fascinating.
Drove right past my home and “standing on the corner,in Winslow az”! Looks like y’all drove through at night though. Flagstaff used to be my home in my teenage years before enlisting and moving to 29 palms, would always drive down 66 between ash fork and seligman headed back after a weekend home, awesome road trip!
oh i want to go to the USA and just road trip for months all around the country so bad. In Aus we have desert or beach with a tiny bit of forest and mostly just boring stuff.
Utz is okay but doesn’t compare to the local bakeries that don’t distribute outside the county they’re in. When you have to go to a farm or orchard to buy them you know you’ve found the real deal.
It's crazy living in the UK hearing someone say 'I live 7 hours from this town, so it's not that far.' Seriously that's super far. If you drive 7 hours in the UK you've travelled the whole length of the country, from the south of England all the way into mid-north Scotland
Whoa, y’all just going to skip over that Pulsar GTI-R and not say anything about it??? Albuquerque NM and there’s a Pulsar GTI-R stashed away in a garage.
Hey guys! You shoulda knocked on our door at Octane Art, we woulda given you the tour! We are a custom paint n resto shop located right on the 66 in Seligman... We'd love to have you guys over stop in anytime....
I live in Seligman, thanks for highlighting our town!
The fact y'all casually came across a man riding a bike across america is insane to me. y'all were just vibin.
It’s actually not to odd for that to happen. I’ve been fortunate enough to crisscross the us many times and have seen my share of cyclists and other such travelers making their way
You tube Skating across America that's a good watch
Not that rare on certain routes. Same w/ coming across hikers on long ass trips like the Appalachian trail.
bro fr! what a random thing to come across in the middle of the desert basically
I good friend of mine rode his bike from Paradise ca across the country right after we graduated high school in 98 🍻🤙🏻
Scotto and Officer Dan were like "Did we just become best friends?!?" 😂😂😂😁😁😁
if they would have started doing karate 😂
This series was just like the Hoonigan Roadtrip series y'all used to do. We NEED more of this, if not for anything else but more Scotto snack breaks!
Man didn't even acknowledge the pulsar gti-r and ran straight to the 4cyl corrado in the corner - as scotto as it gets😂
Ikr..
This has been one of my favorite series Hoonigan has ever put out. Just Scotto and friends exploring fun car stuff and getting into situations all over the country
“We are now close enough AAA can tow us home”
Lol time to relax 😂

I love how when Scotto is tasked with making a drift car he goes on a van trip instead
That older gentleman riding his bike everywhere is Amazing. Good luck sir
Thanks for a great series!!! Loved it. Scotto's retirement Carcaine shop/museum on route 66 is the BEST idea and makes perfect sense.
Scotto's Rt 66 Retreat has a real ring to it!
Officer Dan seems like a hilarious dude! Keep him on the show
❤
@@Officer_Dan I have to ask what was the OG vortex screen name. Mine was -Teknien- but I was pretty much in the Mk1 forum.
@@kevinbirmingham3833 eyehate!
@@Officer_Dan such a turn of the century edgy use of word play...
Scotto mukbang show when? Just half an hour of snacking and recalling some obscure VW stuff from back in the day.
Welcome to Carcain Cafe. Scotto is out buying a rare Volkswagen in Saskatchewan. He's driving it back, in February.
Rumor has it those new headlights are still sitting in the box
Finally Someone Has A Pulsar GTi-R Stashed Away ❤
Big Up Officer Dan 😂
My 2nd favorite car of all time!
@@Officer_Dan it's my 2nd as well I own my 1st love that I will never sell and one day I will get a black one not to ever sell then life is complete 🤗
Hmm, I have a black one here in NZ that was apparently running low 11second quarters. Swap for the white one haha

"2 cent tour" of the shop absolutely turned into more than just that. 😅 as expected.
Only the vortex OG’s know about that server change.
Extra props to the editor on this vid....hilarious!
My favourite mustang drift video of all time is that one with the bikes and the Terminator
❤❤❤
That icon drift video I've watched probably 100 times. Love the drifting terminator.
❤❤❤

Guy riding his bike is on another level!
Some say Scotto is still out there... looking for a taillight assembly...
More will! Solid road trip boys
“Finish it up” 😂 26:38
Thank you for beautiful road trip series. I really like watching road trips.
Thank you so much!
Awesome! Thanks for the ride along boys!!

Hell yeah, fresh vid on a Saturday. 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
I watched all the episodes, what an epic road trip. Thanks for sharing this with me.
I LOVE the references to VWVortex! My first car was a 91 Jetta Coupe, so Vortex was bookmarked and used often!
That silver aztek. Was actually nasty. Ive never seen one done up like that
Loved the series and the van man!
Brooooo officer dan?! That man made my childhood. I used to watch all of the drift battles repeatedly
"I'm not going stupid with it ... I did go a little stupid"
My entire life imo
Hoonigan event at Dan's racetrack in Albuquerque?
Let's do this
Y'all need to make a channel dedicated to the squeaky parts. I'd love to hear those conversations.
Thanks Scotto for the great road trip!
Maaaaan. running into all the old vortex folks. Makes me young again.
I'd love that house I'd turn it into a museum and make some money 💷 😂
OG and still active VWVortexer from the precrash 1998 days checking in.
I would totally watch a show called carcaine cafe where it's just scotto eating and taking about food
"I really should just eat and talk about it." Thus the Carcaine Cafe. It needs to happen.
Carcane cafe would be a must stop on route 66.
Yes!!! You should open that spot on Route 66.
I was thinking/hoping Danger Dan, when I read the title of the video, but officer Dan seems cool too.
Nothin was worse then calling your parents collect from a phone booth, when ever they got that call it was never a good situation lol.
1010220, we haddababyeatsaboy lol
Wish I would have known!!!! I work in flagstaff, I could have shown yall a great time
I wish Route 66 had more side road oddeties like "The Thing!".
That's an actually kool name Carcaine Cafe... on route 66.. can't beat that..
That 66 Hat was such a solid pickup. Looks good.
Scotto needs more trips to AZ, come see the scene..
Snack Time with Scotto has a nice ring to it
15:46 I instinctively twitched hearing those bugs in my ears
I drove from LA back to St Louis after flying out to buy a car. Epic trip
More love to the corrado 🎉
alright ill check back next month to see if yall working on those builds from 3 months ago.
0:44 the house from Friday made it a business
All the episode’s! We’re 🔥
the editing cracks me up every time
Yal should do a rally to different diners from New York to cali and review the food as a group. Vinny is always complaining about been feed
ahh that vr6 loovee lool
Scotto making VW people feel old remember the VW Vortex days hahahahah
Server change is still painful to this day.
Hey were you driving out of Los Alamos New mexico on the 7th. I think I saw u guys I tried waving. Much love scotto
I could go for a root beer float right now
Snagged a e350 for $200 this year. 125k miles on a 1999 but it needs transmission (slips) can’t wait to get to exploring
“Scotto’s snacks” coming to a hoonigan channel near you
I’m old enough to remember what a phone booth is but not old enough to have ever used one lol
BEST sonic slush combo is mango, red raspberry and nerds candy!
Yall should've went through Williams historic town just west of Flaggstaff. OG route 66 old school town it's awesome and better than than Seligman.
oh i want to go to the USA and just road trip for months all around the country so bad. In Aus we have desert or beach with a tiny bit of forest and mostly just boring stuff.
1990 G60 was my first Volkswagen.
When people unexpectedly pop up on screen and it makes the noise and exclamation point. Is that final fantasy???
24v VR6 best sounding cars…I miss my GLI and R32 mk4 😢
Pay phone with the rotary dial at that lol.

My first car was a track ready, Fox wagon Porsche slayer.
Good times!!!
I might have seen that guy on the bike early this yr in MICHIGAN?
Doesn’t mention the best bmw ever made my heart 😢
I don't care how good a photographer or videographer you are, not thing can compare to seeing all that with your own eyes.
I want a corrado
we all do lol
Everyone says that until you get one. Then the nightmare of finding parts begins. Unless you have a hoard of them already it’s not worth it.
Bob speaks the truth
Same for me with Sonic. Always commercials but none within hours and hours
Build a spot on 66!!!
Whoa, y’all just going to skip over that Pulsar GTI-R and not say anything about it??? Albuquerque NM and there’s a Pulsar GTI-R stashed away in a garage.
We talked about it for like half a second and he saw the corrado lol
Danny Duncan got to go on the property! He was driving the RV
Scotto is the Anthony Bourdain of the motoring world.
Hey guys! You shoulda knocked on our door at Octane Art, we woulda given you the tour! We are a custom paint n resto shop located right on the 66 in Seligman... We'd love to have you guys over stop in anytime....
Ok 2:53 you guys arguing G60s but don’t even mention the Pulsar GTiR!
The Walter White House...... there's money to be made there somehow!?
UTZ is good. Have a lot of pretzel options in the area.
