Great video. Two questions please: 1. Can you turn off rev matching in Sport mode? 2. In your opinion, could you live with Sport mode suspension on bumpy backroads everyday? (As there is no custom mode and I always want sport mode throttle response and sound, so I'll have to live with damping in Sport mode).
I bought a 2019 new focus st line 1.0L turbo and its been back to the dealer twice. At 1500km it had 2 anti roll bar links replaced and now at only 3000km theres trouble with the gearbox it clunking in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears they replaced the clutch but that has not fixed the noise, now the gearbox is getting a new 2nd gear what sort of shite is ford churning out , i hope this st focus is of better quality. Ford is now going to replace the gearbox after 3 weeks trying to fix it and its going to take another 6 weeks to get a new gearbox.

I can't believe how bad ass it sounds.....and it's gonna have a modem that gives off a hotspot for up to 10 devices, and it comes with Michelin pilot super sports I mean come on Ford this isn't even fair.....I own a 2015 Focus St3 and I love it .......so why can't we have it in America Ford?????🤔

Totally agree, noticed a lot of the new hatches are setup this way now. I guess it's to offer up more space. But the snug space ship cabin of the MK3 was far better imo. Sound, speed, handling look to be massively improved though. Not sure about everything else...
Yes, you are right. Because the brake pedal was too high (I could not comment that in the video) - car is prototype yet, is not ready for test now. We have to wait to July for full report. Really, Leo was not so happy to give ST for drive so early. Thanks for comment!

I do hope they're going to put the 'FOCUS' word back on the rear end for the finished vehicles. Big mistake to take that off, it's a great touch on the regular models. And why, in God's name, in 2019 are Ford still using plastics from the mid '70s? Have Ford management never read a car review?

I love my fords, but what is with the cheap plastic inside on the dash board, yak, is the bigger engine really the way forward? Sounds amazing but grunt is going to drink the jungle juice and still be out performed by an old pug 308 GTI ? Shame thought we might get some new super tech 1.8 or something like that!
@@jking140 could be. They generally charge about a 1000 euros more for a wagon though. And I highly doubt it theyll make the base price of the wagon lower this time to give you an option on the diff and CCD. Cause then why not do the same with the hatchback? The thing is, without it being a wagon, Ill never be able to sell it to my girlfriend to buy one ;) But I dont wanna pay more for less

The first test drive is going to start in July, it means on sale (orders) will be at the same time. Anyway in a two week I'm flying to Ford event in Amsterdam, and will ask them again.

Waiting new Focus RS

Providing they don't go mild hybrid for the new RS and stick to the 2.3 engine and have the option of the DSG. It'll be one quick car!

Guessing ST170 didn’t have a Turbo Pod but it was present in the MK2 and 3 and imo is a must now, as it is iconic and is what makes up an ST.
