Seeing this game in its detail gives me hope they will bring back the dow game series and bring back base building as well. The army painter is where ive spent too much time already.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar is the best it's ever been. No joke, it has surpassed not only the "old world" which is a boring setting of mechanically combined clichés from fantasy and history. But even 40k - which turned into a soap opera about primarchs and space marines.💎
We've been playing the Wrath & Glory and it's a great game, filling the D&D void for us as we take a break from that setting for a while. 40K is just such a massive, well-filled-out environment, it's perfect for a dark RPG.
Gameplay looks glacially paced, and that's coming from someone that put up with Dawn of wars insane 'Troops are invincible during some animations' stuff.
Honestly the game looks awesome! I just wish the scale of battle was a bit larger. I don’t know if it’s because they wanted to start small and see how the game goes or for another reason.

Yo, a denuvo RTS game that require to create a separate account, no proper base building, lack flexibility due to lock in combat, bad UI and clunky controls and unit respond. You know if a 60 dollar product is unpolished and require extra work for consumer and has no workshop support it's a disaster to me no matter how good the other aspect are. I am not expecting dow 1 quality, but frontier can not even copy dow 2 right. Darn shame.
The game is interesting but hit or miss. The story is meh it has a few fun cutscenes especially the orc ones but overall its all just meh and the ending is lackluster and makes you feel the game is missing content.

Just found out about your channel, great smoothing voice, but the rapid switching back and force with face cam and game content is a bit much. I was looking for a dow 2 that does not requires 1000 hours of play time to join mutiplayer lobby. But realms of ruin does not have cover system, is even near to the depth of dow2, shitty UI with no clear indication of armor speed health and does not even allow mod. You did your best presenting this game in a positive light, just please show face cam less. Because new viewer come in for the content, not face reveal or your character.
The movement mechanics are crap. The game could be so much better than it is…i bought it played for a bit and just could not stand the way the controls are…
This game just looks like a generic lane battler with aos skin. Not what I a want in a warhammer game. But will probably be the only lane game I would like.

It looks cool but it looks like a few units per army , hopefully it gets enough money for them to be able to put more content in the game

Bro I just bought this game today play through the tutorial I'm ready to get a 6 out of 10
Played it for 7 hours. I'm not enjoying the locked combat aspect of the gameplay nor the lack of Base building.

The lack of Base building reminds me of DoW 2, and i liked that one better anyway. But the locked combat really is a bummer.
Locked combat? As in you can't retreat
@@Mark.Matthews You need to click the retreat button which costs resources and is on a cooldown. Not a fan of this system.

It's not even as fun as dow3. Which is saying something.
Sad to hear that, had hoped they would pivot more towards DoW2 so we could get levels and gear on the commander, rather than DoW3.
