My best wishes to the Keith family. I've been there it's tough. My son had RSV and double pneumonia when he was just 3 weeks old he survived but it was almost 3 month of him being in an induced coma and intubated.
Love and hope to the young Keith family. Elijah. Fight the good fight little brother. Dad's gonna need a bag man and we can't wait to see you on the course.
I really enjoyed that the editor used the sound of a 20-lb frozen turkey, dropped from a bridge into the water, for every splashdown of a disc! Way to go full Foley on it!
@@MetaltManiac I have an unfortunate habit of noticing over-the-top foley work in all kinds of media, its one of my pet peeves so I'm just kind of disgruntled in general, I've heard it done completely seriously too many times that I didn't even consider that it was being done comedically in this context.
@@Meta-Drew Sounds like you need to stop taking very light-hearted videos so seriously then even if the editing isn't up to your standards because it was very very obvious the sound effects were for fun as is most everything in these videos and somehow you're still worked up about em.
I met Emerson at a disc golf store across from Veteran’s in Arlington back when I first got into disc golf in 2014. He asked me if I’ve been playing a long time and I literally said “I’m here to buy my first disc.” He walked me through all the flight numbers and showed me some beginner friendly discs (ended up buying a Buzzz). It wasn’t until years later that I realized who I was talking to in the store that day…. The one and only Emerson Keith! I wish the best for his baby and I helped as much as I could.. Love the disc golf community
When I bought my first new discs after returning to disc golf in my late 40s (I had played in college but all those discs were super old DX plastic), I got a little help from Connor O Reilly.
Emerson was really nice when I met him on tour. Stopped eating to sign discs for me and my dad. Finances should never play a role in a person's survival. Shared what I could but still sending massive love towards the whole Keith family. The DG world loves you and we take care of each other
even though people make it seem that way it doesnt really. That baby would get care whether or not they had the money and at a minimum they could get alot of help by going to st.judes which charges parents nothing though that could be for just cancer. But either way theyre not jost gonna kick the baby out if they cant pay but they will be in debt for sure.
Emerson I hope with all my heart your little boy Elijah gets better soon. I have 8&6 year old boys and I can't imagine what you're going through. Stay strong bro!!!!!!!!!!
River in goldICE feels so good and with enough spin or on hyzer flips it ends up going all the way to the right so smooth and in retro plastic it is more over stable and goes slightly to the left. Love that disc so much and you can throw it 400ft easily with hyzer flips
I love my Leopard DX. If I want a disc to go right on a backhand throw, that's the one. That's all it does, it doesn't go far, it doesn't fly flat. But it goes right every time.
Always super happy to see these videos outside the tour coverage of pros just having some fun landing interesting shots. Can't wait for more putting game to come back.
I was the exact same when I started out, but I would recommend getting it in a champion plastic. It will warp less, and you can get more consistent shots with it long term.
If you watch the Practice Rounds, you'll hear the guys talk about Uli's "get out of jail" disc. Not a beat-in DX Leopard (i think it's a beat Avenger SS), but similar in theory. A REALLY beat-in understable disc can be as useful as a really overstable one. Keep that DX Leopard, Mark Lamont!
It’s a great beginner disc, I love mine. I’ve thrown it so much it’s too flippy to use, so I bought a star one. Still a staple in my bag (I’ve been playing for like 6 months)
@@Jaw656 thats true, but last time i remember someone saying it was a beginner disc and in their mind they threw it with a lot of hyzer and it never got to flat. I might also be a little biased becouse i love the river as a straight/hyzerflip disc!
I used to have a few 2012 Tim Selinske masters Kraits and they flew great. They were definitely understable but u could throw some crazy lines on wooded courses
nothing beats a beat up dx wraith, they become super stable and easy to shape to nearly any shot. a thumber was the wrong throw. still entertaining as always.
Sometimes you draft to get the goods for yourself, sometimes you gotta keep the other guy away from what he needs. Crazy that Emerson got his tour series mold to throw and the other guys let him!
I actually have an Inferno by Quest, the regular one, mine isn't the the raging version, but this is the only time I've ever even seen a disc from the same company
I k kw the pros are kinda joking abt the Krait but in all honesty, it's an amazing disc for people with average arm speed! I always bag one because of the dependability! So their arm speeds are too much for a Krait but if yall see one just try it!
How many rounds are worlds this year? Also, what's the set up (is it just X amount of rounds? Are they doing a final 2 play 9 holes? Is their any match play?)

The link isn’t working.
They should have had Climo walk by with a cig in hand and pick up on of those old beat DX discs and smooth it right under the basket.
Got up and down tho right champ?
Jimbo, you my man are a perfect fit for the CiGS disc golf "Loosey" team and our signature Paul Sux Pocket T
@@HaikesXO didn’t get up and down
Old school guys would know not to throw understable discs hard into the wind. Was really unimpressed with the pros on this one, which is not the norm.
Who's Climo?
Ah yes, another video of "Professionals roasting your favorite discs"
I know right... I have three kraits in my bag, lol...
I just spent 15 seconds trying to wipe the hair off my screen until I realized it was your profile pic lmao
I love my retro river 😂
Atleast James put the saint as one of his good discs
I mean, it isn’t the molds that are the problem. It’s the ancient plastics that,re beat to hell

They did that on the previous one too. Guess someone is trying to justify their job by doing a bunch of extra work to make a worse product.
@@Meta-Drew, idk if it’s “worse”, just not accurate, but in a funny (to me) way.

“You guys are too friendly”
James - “Come on wind. Pick up.” 😂
Love the trash talk.
was laughing pretty hard at that
“Not too well.” Was peak James trash talk.
I forgot how much I love James. Haven't seen enough of him recently.
Watching James makes me happy

Poor River, they keep calling it a beginner disc and then every time I see a pro throw it, it flies perfectly.
yeah, what gives lol.
I thought the same thing. It's one of my top half dozen fairways. Without that wind I could get my River to that island on a good day.
Johnny Mcrae throws rivers like 500ft. Super underrated disc
@@ClarkPotter Right? I can barely throw it 300 but it flies the same way, barely any flip, long straight glide, medium hyzer at the end.

I donated to the cause, i had no idea Emerson and his fam were going through all that. My heart goes out to all of them!
I loved watching them immediately scrambling to the ground to pick their discs. It looked like ducks going on a breadcrumb frenzy.
Always super happy to see these videos outside the tour coverage of pros just having some fun landing interesting shots. Can't wait for more putting game to come back.
I love watching pros throw random mystery discs, please make more of these 🙏
Thank you for the content
I’m so excited to see this become a regular event on Jomez! So much fun
It's funny how the discs they're trying to throw here are the same discs I would use to get on the island (Trespass, Wraith, Escape, etc.)
Im a beginner (2 months in)....and to hear them say "No one wants the DX Leopard" kills me haha...that's my favorite disc in my bag!!!

Love to see the support for Emerson. Grateful for this community.
Good video. Loved it. Maybe for the next one put a graphic up indicating the disc they’re throwing.
And once again, the river shows its true colors even though they diss it!
It does have some stability!
Haha yeah the river isn't THAT understable. Just really glidey. But with these beat up base plastics you never know how flippy they'll be.

this challenge is some of the best disc golf content there is
I would love to know which disc each player would have chosen if they had an option to pick any disc from their own bag.
I have one of those flippy Heimburg destroyers. I love it, makes it look like I can through a destroyer.
The fake audio on this is epic. Hurricane wind sounds, boulders hitting the water, and trains horns for days. XD
You really need more videos like this. These are great
Prayers out to your family Emerson!
I do hope your prayers make a difference…
That was such a fun video. Thank you for putting the work into that one. Keep it going!

This is such a great series
This type of video is so good. Please do tons
Wow, why would someone get rid of that Explorer the Emerson threw. Great shot!!
The best challenge every time! Love the content!
Prime plastic is actually super beefy - and everyone who doesn't throw Trilogy a lot assumes the opposite :D
Chris getting a Gstar TB3 was almost a cheat code. That is such an easy mode disc to throw on a straight line.
These island challenges are my favorite
Yes! My favourite video from last year
Prayers for your baby boy, Em!
i would love to see more detail on each disc they’re throwing
Worlds Whisperer Emerson Keith is already at it!
Explorers are so good, Emerson's proving it
7:45 That was in-saint !
Gahhhh these island hole random disc challenges are the best fun vids...
Man I love my DX Wraiths :(... and the Atlas... and the G-Star Roc3...
my number one disc. I have a couple dozen of them.
I love disc golf. It’s a sport where even the pros hate on the best and “crappy” discs (:

Love the disc and plastic knowledge on show here
Letss gooo its back love this challange

pretty sure that was a Fuzion Trespass at 6:50 . the plastic & flight numbers would lead you to believe it’s like a Star Destroyer (not DX). lmao.
The DGA Rift has lots of glide, Chris.

who and what time did anyone throw the arrow? Thumbnail mentioned an Arrow
Burst Saint is my favorite driver! They just love to go straight
Just picked up a saint today I really enjoyed it
Damn, that kid from Happy Gilmore can throw!

Crazy that Emerson dude went to my highschool
Those "crappy" discs are all better than any of the discs in my starter set.
@JomezPro It would be nice to know the length of the carry for reference.
You should do the same game from the drop zone but the other players get to be on the green with tennis rackets
5:08 swampletics guest voiceover. "no way-uh"
Awesome! However my whole bag is made of factory seconds so I’d throw that DX leopard lol!
Sitting on some extra footage from DDO week?
